Author's Note: This is the last chapter :( but I'm about to post the first chapter of my NEW story, which follows a girl who drunkenly gets married to Hunter in Vegas! It will be more plot heavy than this one but I'm excited about it! It's called All I Dream About, please check it out!

Over the next couple weeks, we didn't talk much about what exactly our relationship was. We simply enjoyed our time together, laughing, cuddling, kissing...anything we felt like doing together. Sex wasn't at the fore front of our minds anymore. I wasn't exactly calling him my boyfriend but it felt like a relationship, all new and exciting and playful. Yet, even the initial honeymoon phase felt different than previous relationships. Getting to know someone romantically always came with uncertainty but this was...easy. Maybe it's because we already knew each other but it felt like we had been dating for years, not mere days. It was strange, but far from unpleasant.

One night, we stood in the kitchen after making and eating dinner together, I caught him looking at me, a small smile on his face. I narrowed my eyes at him, suspicious but amused. "What are you looking at? Do I have something on my face?"

"No," he laughed, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me closer. "It's just...weird? But in the best way? It feels like nothing has changed, but everything has changed all at once. And I like calling you my, well...girlfriend?" It was more of a question, and he looked back at me with a hopeful smile.

I grinned. "Is this your not so subtle way of asking me to be your girlfriend?"

"Hey, I never said I had any moves; that's a lie you created yourself," he shrugged, unable to hide a smile. "But, yes, it is. Do you want me to be your boyfriend?"

I paused, making a show of looking like I was thinking really hard. I took my sweet time, even stepping away from his embrace to pretend to stare into space thoughtfully. I heard him sigh in exasperation, and I couldn't help but break my composure with a laugh. "You know...I think I do want you to be my boyfriend. You've convinced me, somehow."

He rolled his eyes, grabbing me by the wrist to pull me back into him. He silenced my laughing with a kiss, his hand resting on the small of my back as he pulled my body flush against his. The feeling of him against me stopped my laughter altogether, my focus instead drawn to the kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He didn't stop me this time, only moving to tangle a hand in my hair as he deepened the kiss, which seemed to grow more heated by the second. His fingers briefly slipped underneath my shirt, just grazing the skin before hesitating. He pulled away to look at me, a little breathless. "Do you want to...?"

"Yes," I nodded vigorously, smashing my lips against his before he could finish his sentence. I felt him smile as he began pulling me toward his room, tugging me along by my belt loops. It occurred to me that we had never slept together since transitioning into more of a couple, even without the label. We had kissed in that time, but nothing had even really progressed into making out. Once we stumbled to his room, he fumbled with the doorknob before finally swinging it open.

I managed to spin us around as we approached the bed, moving forward until his legs seemed to hit the bed frame, right at the foot of the bed. I mustered up all my strength, pushing him flat on his back onto the mattress and climbing on top, straddling his waist. He gasped in surprise, smiling in amusement. "And where did that come from, Genevieve?"

Hearing the French pronunciation of my name again made the temperature rise in my body, but I tried to remain composed. "You really can't resist a wisecrack and just let me kiss my boyfriend?" I laughed, shaking my head. "You know I liked French growing up. If you keep calling me that, I'll do a lot more than just kiss you."

He raised an eyebrow at my so called threat, grinning mischievously as he propped himself up on his elbows. "And what if I want you to do more than kiss me?"
