Sangyeon walked home one night wondering what happened to that one boy. Chanhee left quite the impression on him. The grief radiating off the poor boy was a good three times anything he'd ever seen.

He went home that night, spacing out. He fumbled with his keys to get into his house, but before he could get the key into the hole, the door was opened from the inside. A tall ravenette bounded forwards, tumbling into his arms.

"Hey..." he softly said and carried the boy inside, allowing him to latch onto him. It was a daily occurrence and it didn't hit him until now how much he loved it.

His chest felt warm as he kicked his shoes off, the boy detangling himself from Sangyeon, "I made dinner."

The brunette smiled and pecked the latter's cheek, "Thanks Hoon."

Sangyeon shed his coat and hung it up, yawning as he did.

"Tough day?" Younghoon seemed sympathetic, frowning at his condition. The elder nodded and heavily sat down on the living room chair, resting his head in his hands.

The ravenette made quick work of bringing the dishes over to the table, tapping Sangyeon while he slowly drifted off to sleep. He stirred and gave Younghoon a delighted smile, "This looks amazing Hoon."

Younghoon smiled and gestured for him to start eating. Midway through, the brunette absentmindedly asked his lover a question, "Remember that boy I told you about? Chanhee?"

The younger nodded, "He lost his husband right?"

Sangyeon sighed in confirmation, "I was wondering how he was doing. Poor boy was a mess."

"Yeah... Hopefully he's doing fine," Younghoon agreed, looking at the other.

"That's not really what's on your mind is it?" The brunette wasn't even surprised at how quickly the younger caught on. He'd been dating Younghoon for seven years, of course he could read him like an open book.

"I'm just scared that might happen to us," Sangyeon mumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Younghoon's face softened and he placed his chopsticks down, "It won't alright?"

Sangyeon nodded, trying to convince himself. The last thing he wanted was to see his lover on the autopsy table, void of any emotion, under an eternal sleep.

Ironically, the next day, Sangyeon was met with a familiar face.

Chanhee.

He looked healthier than the last time he had seen him. Sangyeon decided to approach the pink haired boy to see how he was doing, trying to figure out how to do so in the meantime. As he was about to walk over, another boy popped out from one of the aisles.

He watched the boy cling onto the newcomer as the person turned around. The brown fluffy hair and brow sparkling eyes made him drop his basket.

No doubt, that was Lee Hyunjae.

The Lee Hyunjae that was supposed to be dead. Yet here he was, chilling like nothing ever happened. The brunette slapped himself and looked again, only to be met with the same sight, the boy looking very much alive.

"What. The. Fuck." Sangyeon kept checking every 10 seconds to make sure that was the right guy and it finally hit him. He paled. What had Chanhee done to bring Hyunjae back from the dead.

Sangyeon kept watching and saw yet another boy bound over to the two, dropping something into the cart. The new boy had jet black hair and resembled a cat, draping himself onto Hyunjae's back.

The ravenette looked content, his eyes fluttering shut when Hyunjae gave him a peck to his forehead.

Sangyeon could feel like brain freezing as he tried to comprehend what was unfolding in front of him. Why wasn't Chanhee mad at this newcomer?

His question was answered when the boy walked over to the two with a bag of rice and sliding it into their shopping cart and straightening up and running his hand through the mysterious boy's hair.

Chanhee had a soft smile on his face and ran his fingers through the ebony hair again, and Sangyeon watched the boy lean into the touch.

Oh.... OH.

The brunettes eyes widened. He didn't have the guts to walk up to them so he grabbed all his groceries and paid.

"HOOOON~" He whined, "I swear Lee Hyunjae is alive. Remember that dead guy we talked about yesterday."

Younghoon didn't seem like he gave a shit as he kept eating his strawberries, "Sure he is."

"They were with another boy, I think they're all dating each other. He totally looked like a cat."

That seemed to have gotten the ravenette's attention, "Oh really?"

Sangyeon nodded, and buried his head in the pillow that was on the cozy sofa he was sprawled out on.

"His hair was like midnight black, and his eyes were like piercing. He was tall too and had this like regal, elegant aura."

Younghoon's eyes seemed to have lit up in recognition, "But why the hell would they hang out with—Wait you said Hyunjae was dead and is now alive?" The elder nodded. "Damn, that's some deep shit they got themselves in."

The brunette looked at his boyfriend, "What?"

Younghoon shrugged, "I mean you just described Lee Juyeon down to a T."

"Whomst the fuck is Lee Juyeon?"

The ravenette cracked up at the look of utter confusion on his boyfriend's face, "A devil. He retired though. Something about lovers"

Sangyeon felt like his brain of was lagging but one thing caught his attention, "How do you know all of this.."

The ravenette sighed and looked at him dead in the eyes, "I knew I'd have to tell you at one point. I trust you." Younghoon set the plate of strawberries down and stood up.

The next moment was the biggest shock of his life. The inky black wings that erupted out of his lover back shocked him. They folded themselves neatly on his back and Younghoon cheekily smiled.

"Kim Younghoon, Lee Juyeon's right hand man at your service," he bowed.
