It had been a month.

And the pair finally could fly, their wings were fully grown, they had enough control to take flight for long periods of time. It took a while but they had also mastered the ability to hide their wings two weeks ago. They were currently on a mountain that Juyeon had teleported them to, confusion was evident on their faces as they questioned why they were here in the first place.

"We're going to see Haknyeon and Sunwoo in a few hours. Why the hell are we on a mountain?" Hyunjae asked sleepily.

"You guys are going to learn to fly."

The two looked awake after hearing that, "Off a mountain? No thank you." Chanhee shook his head. He had no asperations to die today.

Juyeon leapt off the cliff and spread out his massive black wings, the feathers all glossy from the self care he did yesterday. He flapped them a few times and gained altitude before gliding around and landing in front of them after doing a fancy loop in the air.

"See? Not that hard."

The two sighed. Chanhee didn't want to do this at seven in the goddamn morning but Juyeon didn't care.

"Fine, I'll try," The pink haired boy got near the edge and peered over. That was a long ways down.

"I'll catch you. You'll be fine," Juyeon gave him a small kiss, leading him away from the edge and to a different part of the mountain, this section was steeper and the cliff's edge was narrower. In all honesty, it wasn't so bad, and it was smooth sailing once you jumped off.

Chanhee spread his grey wings and his eyes widened as the wind swept him up without him having to do anything. Shakily, he tried to steady himself with his hands, but a part of him felt like it knew what to do.

He let the instinct take over and started gliding smoothly, flapping his wings a few times as the wind gave him a fleeting hug. It wasn't terrifying at all, he even peered down and felt safe. His wings wouldn't fail him. Chanhee looked next to him and saw the ebony wings and grinned like a maniac.

"Juyeonie! I did it!" He laughed with glee and spread his arms like a flying squirrel.

They turned around and headed back, and he saw Hyunjae clapping. The landing was horrible. Chanhee felt like a fawn on its legs for the first time and fell to the ground after landing. His legs were jelly. Hyunjae was getting ready and he wobbled over and gave him a hug.

Hyunjae had really grown to be a sculpture. His wings were the definition of perfection, the white fluffy feathers at the top, his primary flight wings a snow white except two on each. One of grey like Chanhee's and the other was pitch black. After the boy had turned immortal, his features had changed becoming softer, the skin almost glowing.

"Have fun," He yelled as the other took off and laughed as the other started exactly like he did. It looked like he was fighting with the wind not using it to his advantage and even if it was sunny. It seemed like the boy was stuck in a typhoon unable to move forward.

But in a couple minutes he was gracefully flying around like a swan, gliding by and waving at Chanhee, a gleeful smile on his face. Juyeon was following his every move making sure the other was fine, clearly enjoying the time with the two of them.

After Hyunjae's less than graceful landing, bowling into Chanhee, the two falling into a heap of giggles and feathers, they took a break and drank some water before all three took flight, the two getting the hang of it and even doing some stunts to the ravenette's delight.

"Juyeonie look!" Chanhee and Hyunjae were both doing cartwheels using their wings to propel themselves. Juyeon shook his head in amusement and flew after the, his larger wings letting him get there in a heart beat.
