It's Tuesday afternoon and Drew is walking home from school. It's a nice day outside, the wind is blowing in the leaves, bees are buzzing in the flowers, if you ignore the leaves covering the ground it almost feels like spring. Which isn't Drew's favorite time of the year by far, but anyone could appreciate a nice day like this.

It's sort of tainted, though. He can't stop thinking about Danny... And those girls. He has a lot of conflicting emotions about the whole situation. Something about Danny hanging out with them gives him a bad vibe. Of course, he's pretty sure they're all anti-maskers, but it's not just that. It's more personal than that. Something about the situation makes him so angry. Though he finds himself relieved a little, for some odd reason, that it wasn't a one-on-one date.

Why? he asks himself. Probably because it would mess up their whole collab thing if Danny got a girlfriend. Yeah, that's it. Drew shakes his head, imagining Danny cancelling on Saturday to hang out with a girl.

He feels something brush his shoulder and turns to see what it is. A little honeybee is sitting on his shoulder. He frowns and swats it away, causing it to get angry and sting him. Drew smacks the bee and it falls to the ground.

"Stupid bee," he remarks. No, it's really not such a nice day after all.

Danny gets a text from Laura that night.

Laura: hey danny 🥰
Laura: i know we were talking about hanging out earlier, how about sunday?
Danny: Yeah, I'm free. What were you thinking?
Laura: maybe we could get lunch. we could pick something up and eat it at my house if that's cool with you <3
Danny: Sure! So around noon?
Laura: perfect!

She texts him her address, and just like that, it's set.

Danny flops back on his bed and stares out the window at the starry night sky for a few seconds. He questions if he should film a new video or just go straight to bed. That's when a thought crosses his mind. Is this a date? The thing with Laura. Last time it wasn't, but what if it is this time? He's never gone to a girl's house before, he's never even really thought about dating girls before. In fact, the thought makes his stomach fill with butterflies, although not exactly the fun kind, more like the kind that you get before you throw up.

Danny takes a deep breath. Yeah, he'll probably just go right to bed. He just needs to sleep on everything. When he wakes up, it'll all clear up.

When Danny wakes up the next morning, things have not, in fact, cleared up. He has a bit of a headache too. He tries to ignore it and makes sure to take a painkiller before he leaves for school, but by the time he's in English, his head is pounding.

He feels someone tap his shoulder and he looks up to see Drew leaning over from his desk. Six feet is a long distance to lean, though. He looks uncomfortable.

"Hey, Danny. Are you okay?" he whispers.

Danny shakes his head, which just makes it hurt more. "Headache."

Drew gives him an understanding nod. "I don't usually do this, but meet me in the bathroom," he whispers.

"Huh?" Danny responds, but Drew is already on his way out of the room.

Danny's heart starts racing. He figures he'll just go along with it, so he waits a few moments in order to appear less suspicious, then follows Drew to the bathroom.

When he gets there Drew is standing in the corner, as he usually is, with his hands behind his back.

"Uhh, so," Danny starts.
