The next morning, the group was finally allowed to meet the village chief. The group stood outside the old fashioned home finding a lady hidden in the fabric of a thin curtain.

Bandai was a beautiful woman at first glance. However, as sorcerers, they could feel her unpleasant and strong aura.

Although it was far from special grade, Gojo couldn't help but sense something more in this curse.

As the group stared at her, Y/n started making her way towards Bandai's direction, unsheathing her prosthetic hand and was about to attack her but Yuji tried to stop her.

"Wait, wait, not yet!" He called out despite the girl not actually hearing it continued to try to attack Bandai, unintentionally pulling the pink haired boy with her.

"Stop her! Protect Lady Bandai!" The villagers began to huddle up towards the visitors.

In in that span of ordeal, the group was thrown to jail.

Nobara was angry, crossing her arms as she glared at the door. "Seriously, what the hell is wrong with them?!" The woman asked. "And why did you attack straight? What you did was dangerous!" She cried in annoyance.

Y/n being nonchalant made things worse.

She grunted in frustration. "You really can't hear me, can you?" She wanted to cry for god's sake.

"It's quite lively today!" The group jolted surprise and looked back at the stranger who suddenly spoke.

With their guards up, they watched as an old man sat on the corner a string instrument in his back and his eyes... obviously had his eyesight taken away. He had the usual grandpa smile but too thin, boney to the touch as his ribs and joints traced by his own skin.

Somehow, it made them relax a little that he isn't an evil spirit or something.

"Eh, did they lock you up too gramps?" Yuuji asked curiously.

"Well, they said they needed to exorcise a demon. But they locked me up here while I was asleep." He explained. His unseeing eyes landed on Y/n with a hum. "I see, it's been a while." He smiled. The girl's familiar soul reminded him of two children on the boat drifting away years ago.

The girl glanced at him with her prosthetic eyes, looking away to stare at
The space again.

The group turned to Y/n and to the old blind confused. "Wait, you know Y/n-chan?" Gojo asked.

"Ah yes, I've met the child. Although, she had not met me." The old man explained. His vague explanation made the group raise an eyebrow. What? Before they could ask, he spoke again. "Every living being have unique souls. Hers, happened to be an unforgettable one that I've stumbled upon one of my endeavours."

"Ohh, so you're a traveler?" Gojo asked.

The old man nods. "I am. My name is Biwamaru."

"So Biwamaru-ojisan, you know that Y/n-san is blind and deaf? But why does it look like she can see?" Fushiguro asked.

"You all seems like special souls indeed." Biwa started with his usual smile. "We see things the normal human eyes couldn't see."

"Well, we do too." Gojo shrugged.

"Of course. But for us, humans are white mists." He pointed to him with explanation.

"Then what do curses and demons looks like?" Yuji's head shifted.

The old man hummed and smiled. "You, boy have a very dangerous constitution inside you. Such a dangerous curse." He spoke. "The murky blood color of its soul is darker than anything I've ever seen. Its a surprise the young lady hadn't killed you yet." He pointed at Y/n amused.
