(Damn you Gojo! I started calling Nanami to Nanamin in this entire chapter. And fuck knows how many times I've used his name here. My eyes and fingers hurt searching if there's more mispelled Nanami.)
Y/n and Yuuji returned back with Ichiji to fetch Nanami that day.
The girl remained nonchalant as the blonde teacher observed her.
Yuuji felt a bit awkward as he exchanged glances between his classmate and the teacher.
"Gojo brought her here?" He asked.
"Y-yes." Yuuji replied.
Nanamin did not speak further and walked off. The room was quiet once again.
Y/n simply sat there straight faced beside Yuuji. The boy tried to teach her more words as well. Such as body parts, numbers and some elementary things.
"Also, this is orange juice." Yuuji let her hold a glass of said orange juice in the girl's prosthetic hand. She held it and took as sip.
Y/n didn't really feel leisure when eating since she didn't have the sense of taste. As long as it's edible, she would put it on her mouth without hesitation.
"This is dumplings." Yuuji took his chopstick and fed her. Y/n started chewing like a robot while her friend was continuously speaking.

Swallowing the dumpling, Y/n then drank from her juice again focusing her attention to the speaking soul beside her.

Yuuji was desperate to go.
He had called Nanami that day. He wanted to help Junpei so bad but he couldn't just go there alone.
No matter what, Yuuji had made up his mind. No matter how everyone stops him. Even Ichiji who somehow tried to block his way was still hopeless into convincing him not to go.
Meanwhile, Y/n just followed wherever Yuuji run to. She didn't know why his soul was frantic or why he was in so much hurry. All the girl knew is she needed to follow him through instincts.
Although this was indeed her first time being exposed to the sounds, she can clearly feel her friend's emotion through it. She couldn't even tell him to calm down because she couldn't speak and she didn't know what the words are. She only ever knew how to write her name and her brother's name. So no matter how she tried to relay her meaning, there's know use if the receiver wouldn't be able to understand.
The two of them reached the school. Y/n can sense the 'curtain' that hid everything from the real world.
"Y/n, listen to me." Yuuji grabbed the girl's shoulder tightly. "Once the situation calls that both of us can not get out alive, please run." He said.
