You woke up to your commlink going off and you answered it.

Vanota, get up. Anakin said.

"Sorry, I was just about to head out the door"

Mhm

"What?! I was..."

Meet at the hangar. Me, Rex and Fives will meet you there. We will also be taking a separate ship with supplies, so you will still have to go with the Bad Batch.

"Sounds good. Be there in a few."

You put down your commlink and got out of bed.

You hurry and change and realize you don't need a bag because you have to blend in at Nabal. So, you grab your saber and run to the hangar.

As you arrive everyone is already there waiting for you. They gave Ani the run down of the mission and said that Senator Barnes will inform us more there.

The 501st ship leaves as you enter the BB ship. You guys set off to the outer rim planet.

"How far is Nabal anyway?" Wrecker complains.

"Unfortunately, 3 days. Only two nights," Tech explains as Wrecker groans.

"Have you ever played Dejarik, little one?" Crosshair asks.

"Jedi don't really have much time to play games. Or anyone to play them with. I spend most of my time in the temple archives," you answer.

"Not even gambling?" Wrecker asks.

"Haha, not even gambling," you say.

"That's a bummer," Wrecker replies.

"You and Hunter can be on a team. He can teach you and play against me," Crosshair says," good thing you aren't against tech, no one wins against him."

"Maybe one day," you say.

"Ha. You'll never win against Tech," Hunter mumbles, speaking for the first time since two days before.

"Wow. Sergeant Cranky speaks," Crosshair says.

"Can we just teach her how to play," Hunter continues.

"You mean YOU teach her how to play," Wrecker clarifies.

"Yeah yeah, c'mon little one," Hunter gestures you to sit next to him.

You sit next to him and learn the rules of the game. Knowing where each separate piece can move and attack.

It's a close game. Crosshair with his last along with you and Hunter. Hunter whispers in your ear and suggests two different plays as Crosshair goes. You see an attack and kill off Crosshair's last player.

"Wait did we just win?" you ask Hunter.

"Yes we did," he says with a giggle," good job little one." As he says that you feel your cheeks turn pink feeling the stares of Tech and Crosshair.

"Wrecker has already gone to bed, I can monitor the ship and let you guys sleep. I will come get one of you when I start drifting off," Tech says from the cockpit of the ship.

"Good night you two," Crosshair says as he walks to his quarters.

"C'mon, I can show you my room," Hunter says, clearly happier since the training day.

You follow him to his, or your guys', room. He looks at you as you look around the room.

"I couldn't get you a bed in time for our mission. You can sleep on mine, I can deal with the floor for now," Hunter suggests as he starts taking off his armor.
