10- Christmas | Daniel

"Daniel, get the ornaments. It's time to decorate the tree." You yelled to your boyfriend, Daniel who was in the attic.

"Ok babe, One sec."

You had been putting off decorations for a while now because Daniel always forgot or was busy producing something.

But today was Christmas Eve and there was no more time to do it.

"Here you go." He walked down with the box that contained all your Christmas decorations.

"So, how are we going to do this?" You asked.

You were currently trying to figure out how to put on the star without ruining your work on the tree or making the tree fall.

"Get on my back." He said.

"Now's not the time for a piggyback ride," you said.

He rolled his eyes. "No, I mean get on my back so you can place the star."

"Oh, you're smart."

"I know." He said with a smile.

"Shut up, you're supposed to be modest and humble." You said.

He stuck out his tongue. "Just get on my back."

"Fine."

You climbed into his back and successfully placed the star on top of the tree.

"Yes! We did it." Daniel yelled.

"You mean I did it." You said.

"Yeah, yeah. We did it."

"Merry Christmas, babe!" Daniel woke you up.

You groaned, you still wanted to sleep.

"C'mon babe it's Christmas I want to see my presents."

You swore he was a child stuck in a man's body.

"Then go see them."

"With you."

You sat criss-cross on the floor with your presents surrounding you.

"So, which should we open first?" He grinned.

"I don't know. Maybe the one from the guys?" You shrugged.

"Alright! This is so exciting." He exclaimed.

You rolled my eyes but realized he was right. There was something exciting about opening presents and wondering what was in it now matter how old you were.

He placed the presents from the boys in front of him. They decided to do a group present for each of them. The other four would come together to give the other one a present.

"Wonder what this is." He picked up the first box and shook it.

"Just open it already."

"Ok, ok."

It opened the box to reveal a set of headphones with personalized designs on them.

"Yo, this is cool. Gonna have to thank the guys for this." He said, admiring them.

He opened the second box to reveal a new laptop.

"OH MY GOD. Wow, this is amazing I've been wanting a new one." He smiled. "Can't wait to produce some new songs with this."

Before he could get lost in his own little world you snapped him out of it.

"Ok, my turn. The guys got me something? They are really amazing." you smiled.

"Last one. From... you." you looked at him with a smile.

"Yeah, it's not really much." He said blushing.

"Thank you." You beamed.

"You haven't even seen it yet." He said.

"Yeah, but still thank you. I know it's going to be amazing."

"Well, now you're really setting the bar high." He said.

"Don't worry, I know it'll be good." You said and tore into the box.

Inside it was a set of new paintbrushes of different sizes. There were also little tubes of paint.

"Daniel..." You trailed off.

"Don't you like it?" He actually looked nervous.

"Yes, yes. Of course, I do. I love it. Wow, thank you so much."

"You do? I figured that since you started painting again maybe I should give you these." He said.

"Thank you, that's so sweet."

"Also, there's another present." He grinned.

"Where? This was the last box." you asked confused.

"I can't fit it in a box." He said. "Stand up and close your eyes. I'll lead you."

"Ok..."

You followed his instructions.

"Ok, open your eyes."

In front of you was a pomeranian dog. You squealed.

"Omg! What? Thank you." you gave him a kiss before bending down to pick up the dog.

"Oh, he's so cute," you said. "How did you even manage to hide him from me?"

"Skills." He smiled.

You rolled your eyes. "Whatever, thank you. Thank you so much I love him"

He sat down on the floor with you. "So, what are you going to name him?"

"I don't know, I want to say Hugo." you said.

"That's a cute name. Perfect for a cute dog." He responded.

"So Hugo it is," You said and looked down at him. "You like that name?"

He barked.

"This is the best present ever."
