Today was an off day for both you and your boyfriend, Corbyn. So, you decided to make the best of it and go on a date. It was your job to pick the place while Corbyn got all the things you would need.
You had decided on a cute little sunflower field at the edge of town and you were really excited because based on the reviews it was a really beautiful place.
"Did you get the picnic blanket?" You asked, as you were approaching the field.
"Yup, which is the same answer I've has the last three times you asked," Corbyn said, rolling his eyes.
"Sorry, sorry. I'm just really excited. It's been forever since we've gone on a date and I don't want anything to ruin it," You apologized.
"I know, don't worry I have everything, ok?" He said and you nodded.
When you arrived you both couldn't help but look around in awe. The pictures really didn't do it justice.
It was a large field of sunflowers that seemed to go on for miles and there was a little grass covered hill next to it with a swinging bench hanging from a tree. And on the hill were little pink and purple flowers it looked like something out of a fairytale.
You walked to the hill, bubbling in excitement. "C'mon we have to get on that swing!"
"Ok, right behind you," Corbyn said, laughing at your excitement.
The day was spent on eating, laughing, swinging and kisses. You had decided to run through the flowers and have Corbyn take pictures because you wanted something aesthetic.
"You're not even taking any pictures!" You huffed.
"There are bees everywhere. I'm not going in there," He said.
"But I need aesthetic pictures," You groaned.
"Bees."
"But-"
"Bees."
You sighed knowing you weren't going to win that argument. So you decided to do something even better.
"Corbyn! There's a bee behind you!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" He screamed and you started laughing so hard that tears were blurring your vision.
He didn't even realize that you were laughing because of the joke. "Babe why aren't you helping?? I'M GONNA DIE FROM A BEE!!!"
"T-there's no bee," You managed to choke out because you were laughing so much.
He froze. "What?"
"Payback," You grinned.
"Oh my god, I'm gonna get you."
And with that you screamed and started running into the field with him on your heels. I guess your wish did come true, he was chasing you through a sunflower field.
