I woke up to a loud clock going off. I slowly opened my eyes and realized I was hugging the bag close to me. I quickly sat up and looked around. I was still in the wall.

Clutching the bag, I got up and made my way out of the closet. It was pitch dark and I could hardly see anything. I let my eyes adjust to the dark and was able to see that everything was a mess and the windows were covered with a curtain.

It was so quiet I could practically hear my heart pounding against my chest. It was an unsettling feeling, I wanted to call out for someone but who would I call out to? And who would be the one to hear me?

I wandered around the cafe but wasn't able to see much. Tables were floating in the air and I had no way to get up to them.

I sighed and let out a groan. "This day could not pOSSIBLY GET WORSE!"

I tossed the bag off to the side and let out an annoyed sigh. Like toddler, I got frustrated and threw a punch at the wall. I kept throwing punches until I heard the sound of light scratching.

I turned around and saw a dark beast. A hiss roared from it and in a flash I was running for my life. The clawing at the ground beneath me was coming near and the sight of a small hole in the wall was my savior. It was smaller than the last, so I dived down and slid right in. The beast slammed right into the wall and began to scratch the opening.

That's it. This is how I die. Who knew this place would be my destruction. I watched as its paws tried to get through, but was then harshly dragged away.

"Oh dear Ringo don't you dare, come on out Tord don't be scared."

Tom? I crept up to the opening and poked my head out. I looked up and only saw Tom in the dark holding what seemed to only be a cat.

"Tom! Thank god you're here! What's going on and why am I so small!?"

He kneeled down and sat his hand on the floor. I hesitantly crawled on and held onto his thumb as he stood back up.

Once I was closer, I could clearly see that he had scratch's and a bruise forming on his face.
Not to mention his hand was all dirty and cut up. "Sorry to be late I was caught in quite the rush. Though I see you no longer have the bag in your clutch."

At the realization that I tossed the bag, I looked down from Toms hand and search the ground. He caught on and brought me back down to the ground. I hoped off and ran to where I had tossed it.

It was dark and hard to see but thanks to Toms tail I was able to spot the bag. I held it tight and went back to Toms hand. He stood up straight and I held his thumb as he walked out of the cafe.

Outside was quite the sight.

There were no stars or moon. The only light were glowing blue mushrooms that practically lit the whole place up. Even though it was different, it was amazing.

Breath taken, I let out a sigh. "Whoa."

I heard Tom lightly chuckle behind me. "Though it is different from what you are used to, it is quite the lovely sight to get used to."

I was so focused on the view I wasn't bothered by his rhyming at all. But the view didn't last, he headed for a forest instead of the path. Leading us intro he dark.

I glanced up at him and he was looking ahead. "Why are we going through the forest? Wouldn't it be easier for you to see in the path?"

He shook his head. "My kind are not to be soon on the path, my eyes are the guide and work like a light. We will be there by the end of the night."

"-get back here!"

With food in my grasp and woods in my view, I dodged a few bricks as they seemed to miss. Though dodging is easy and running is too, he still managed to get in a good hit or two.

Once I was far enough to not be seen, I looked through what I had and what I would need. Food, clothing, drinks and tea, sure to be plenty for the new hearted fellow.

When I arrived to the shack I let out a sigh, at least this was all to help the new guy. I strung some lights and lit some logs, then cleaned my new wounds and looked for some tunes. A quick glance at the clock told me I was late, so quickly I went to find my new roommate.
