(Jeff's POV)

As I sat on the couch with the kid sitting on the floor I relized I forgot smile dog. I jumpped up and said "offender watch the kid!" And ran out. When I got back VoiceBox was asleep on the couch. I sighed "come on kid. You gotta stop staying up so late" I said softly as I picked him up "damn you're light." I said bringing him to his room and putting him in bed. As I stood up ready to walk out I saw a person at his window. I grabbed my knife walking over and opening the window and who did I see? Toby. Yeah. Toby. I sighed as I looked  at him "the hell you want" Toby looked genuinely worried "is VoiceBox alright." I nodded "why?" Toby said "Cody... He hasn't left his lab in three days. I mean he locked the door and no one has seen him." I looked at ghost. That dog was like a body guard on its own. I nodded and looked at Toby "watch him. And give me your hatchet" Toby looked confused before I took the hatchet and went back to the house. His lab smelled like death. I broke the door down. No Cody. Just dead rats. Some of them were white. Then one had no eyes. One was a very small dog. All dead from starving I would guess. I stared and said "oh no." I ran out. Usually I wouldn't care but I liked the kid. He reminded me of liu. Always following me around like a lost puppy and stuff. Just the stuff liu did. I didn't know why I liked it. Maybe I missed that younger brother figure but anyways. I walked in and the dog was staring at me. I looked at it and grabbed it "I know who you are. Show yourself and I won't chop you to pieces. Oh wait. Yes I will." I raised the hatchet before that dog turned into Cody. I fucking knew it. That crazy scientist how did he do it. I don't really care. Cody said "wait!... Just... Give me VoiceBox and we'll be out your hair." I growled and said "fuck. Off. All you put him through? I mean come on man. You killed so many animals infront of him. Killing a person. And a famliy. Your sick. And IM the one talking. That's saying something Cody. Now. I want you gone. I ever see you again and I won't hesitate to rip your throat out and shove it so far up your ass that it's back where it started when I'm done." Cody said "come on Jeff. I love him. I wouldn't hurt him." I slammed the hatchet down by his face "SHUT THE FUCK UP! HE WAS NOTHING BUT A SCIENCE PROJECT TO YOU! YOU NEVER CARED. DID YOU? HUH?! ALL YOU WERE GANNA DO IS USE HIM! I! WONT! LET! YOU!" flashes of liu getting beat up when we're kids flashed in my head. I kept hitting the hatchet on what I thought was the floor. Untill Toby grabbed me "Jeff! Stop!" I was panting and finally saw what I was hitting. It was Cody. He had a missing arm and five hits to the stumic. "Maybe that will show him that he shouldn't use people as projects" he was coughing blood. I didn't care. I never will. I dropped the hatchet and Toby said "oh god... Cody..." Jeff said "your brother is sick. And that's me saying that. Come on Toby. He attacked you. If anything he would put in his place at any point in time." I said coldly and Toby stared at Cody as he said "Toby.. keep VoiceBox safe please." Toby said "you're not Ganna die. I know your not." Soon enough Toby and Cody and offender were gone. VoiceBox was somehow still asleep. I sat on the couch. Blood soaked my hoddie and my hands. As well as everywhere. I sighed and looked at smile dog who said "don't look at me. Your the one who went ape shit." I sighed "what do I tell him" smile dog said "the truth" I stood up "I can't. He will surely freak out." Smile dog said "look Jeff. If you lie your no better then Cody. So just tell him." I sighed "but... What if he leaves... I don't wanna lose another brother figure." Smile dog said "well maybe get your real brother back. But that's your problem. Ether way. The kids up so you better start figuring it all out." I sighed and grabbed my hair. VoiceBox slowly came walking down and screamed. I stood up "hey kid. Calm down. It's just me. That dog... I-it was Cody. And he wanted to do experiments on you. And I snapped. I attacked him. I couldn't take watching you hurt." VoiceBox stared and looked at me
(VoiceBox's pov)
I stared at him. Was Cody gone? Am I really free of constantly being paranoid. I sighed and said "w-what do we do to clean up..." I was slightly scratching my arms. "Well. To get it off the walls we better work fast. That shit stains." Jeff said before humming and I grabbed a mop and Jeff grabbed some other things. I couldn't get it out my head. A voice started to talk "he's a killer. How can you trust him? Why should you?" I said "but he saved me" Jeff said "huh?" From across the room. All of sudden voice's started to boom in my head "don't trust him." "He's setting you up" "he's going to kill you too" I grabbed my ears and groaned "who's there? Why are you there" all of sudden it was one Voice. Booming loud. "KILL HIM" the voice was deeper then mine. "It can't be me... Who's talking!?" I dropped to the ground coving my ears. Jeff ran over "kid? Kid are you-... Talking?" He stared at me. I whined. I had heard this voice before but it was always quiet and I just pushed it off. I never thought this would happen. Jeff said "kid. Kid!" He made me look at him "you're safe. I know you may not think so but you are. Just take a breath. " I took a deep breath before Jeff gently said "lay down. I'll clean the rest of it." I didn't know what was happening. I just sat down to shocked and scared to sleep.
(Jeff's POV)
I cleaned then went to my room. I thought VoiceBox want to be alone. I got dressed in new clothes and sighed. I recut my smile and cleaned that before leaving. I went to the place I said I never would. My brothers grave. Though he was alive. They made one for him. As I sat in the dark tears welled up in my eyes "damnit Jeff. Don't cry. What would liu say. He would think your a coward." I said softly and sighed as I said "this something I never thought I'd say. But.... I'm sorry liu. I didn't mean to try and kill you. I couldn't help myself in the moment. I don't regret becoming a killer. I'm free now. I don't care. I'm sorry I hurt you but I'm not going back." I heard foot steps and heard a soft yet deep voice "it's okay Jeff." I spun around. There he was. Liu. My brother. Why was he here? So many questions came to my head. I looked up at him and he looked down at me "wow... Never thought I'd seen you here. Long time no see Jeff" I heard liu say. I didn't know what to do but I just stood there before the tear finally fell. I felt a hand on my shoulder "don't cry Jeff. We've got a lot to catch up on." I nodded and slowly said "yeah... I guess we do..." Liu said "Jeff it's freezing. We should go inside" I paniced thinking about VoiceBox having another panic attack. "I've gotta get back to a kid." I stared as he said "well can I go with you?" I slowly nodded and sighed "fine." I took him back. When I walked in VoiceBox was sitting on the couch. He had changed clothes. He had on a white hoddie which was much to big on him. I sighed softly and said "meet VoiceBox. I'm getting paid to watch him" liu looked confused and I said "let me explain. VoiceBox had a boyfriend. Boyfriend was crazy and tried to lock him up forever. And then he met masky and hoddie before masky made him move in here and paid me to keep him. When he moved in he found a little white puppy. We later found out that was Cody. And then I attacked and probably killed him." Liu stared "what. The. Fuck" liu said
