Sister Pt 22

I was sitting beside my dad's grave with the letter he left for me. Mom told me that she doesn't know anything about it when I asked her. I opened the envelope, unfolded the letter and started reading it.

Dear Y/n,

I am sorry for not telling you earlier but I have my reasons. I thought I could save her from the monsters and I even met her but she didn't believe me. For that reason, I worked my hardest to get proof. Before you were born, your mother gave birth to a girl who is your big sister but the day after she vanished. Me, other agents, FBI, police everyone tried to find her but we couldn't. We lost hope and after some time we decided on another child and that's when you came into our life. We were living happily until that day..... I got some clues and my hope again rose that maybe your big sister whom we decided to call Areum was alive. I collected clues and proofs for our agency to believe because I knew I won't be able to do it alone. Eventually, I found her and got to know she was taken by the gang Black Spade and now she works for them. I hope you understand what to do now and I need you to complete what I couldn't do. I know I am making you do all my incomplete works and I am really sorry my love. I know your brave and strong but I am not anymore. Please get your big sister back for your dead father, your mother, and most importantly yourself. I understood that your lonely you need someone besides your mom with whom you could share your thoughts. I kept all the proofs and other things that you will need in your room. I know your crying right now but don't. I will be sad if your cry Y/n. Always remember I love you. Fighting!!

He knew he will not be able to survive but he still got the surgery done. I am a crying mess right now. I never felt this much pain before. I don't know what to feel. It's too much for me to take at once. But I gotta stop this now. I wiped my tears and got up. I dusted off my pants and started walking to my car. I got in and sped off to my house.

I reached my house soon and went inside saying  'I am back home' well more like shouting. I went to my room and started searching for the things he kept. It didn't take much time as my room was not that big and it was in my closet. I have been too busy and tired to look at anything these past few weeks.

I opened the huge box and now if I think of it how in the world did I not notice this huge piece of...don't know whatever. I took out one thing at a time and eventually went through all the stuff. There was a DNA test that proves that she is my biological sister of course. Some of her pictures that were taken secretly I guess. A pen drive. There were some clothes, shoes, masks, and a cap with a sticky note saying "This is your uniform that you should wear every time you go to IKA ( International Korean Agency)".

I took the clothes and tried them out. The black leather jeans were tightly fitted around my thighs and calves but at the same time, it was stretchable. The blacktop was fitted with a  black leather jacket that made me look like a man kinda. The black boots were very comfortable. I didn't wear the mask because I will just wear it outside not inside the agency and the same goes with the cap. I was looking at myself in the mirror when mom called me for dinner. I quickly took off the clothes and changed into my normal clothes. I kept the other things inside my closet and went downstairs to eat. We talked about my work that will officially start tomorrow and some other things. I decided to not tell her about Areum because I don't wanna get her hopes high so fast.

We both finished eating as I insisted on doing the dishes and she went to her bedroom. After doing the dishes and I went to her room and slowly opened the door, she was laying on the bed with her back facing me, she is sleeping I think. I closed the door quietly and went to my room. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes. It was a long day and I was tired.
