September 1st, 1994

After a few days of staying at Adhara's house, Cassandra went home. She still made sure to send letters back and forth to the girls with anything she could come up with on their mystery and to check up on them.

It's now the 1st of September meaning Adhara will be attending her first day of Hogwarts tomorrow.

Adhara was more than excited about everything. She even woke up early just so she could be dressed and out the door immediately. She spent half of the morning going over her things to make sure she had everything. Even though every time she checked, she did have everything.

Adhara grabbed her trunk, small bag, and wand then walked into the family room to see everyone else waiting.

They were meeting up with her cousins, the Malfoy's. Lucius and Narcissa are the parents of her second cousin, Draco, who's in the year below her.

"Okay. I'm ready." Adhara spoke with a small smile.

Reg and Marg smiled at her. This was her first time getting to go to the school they grew up in.

"Allright, we're going to apparate to Kings Cross then go through the bricks and on the other side should be the Malfoy's waiting for us." Marg said.

Regulus grabbed Leana and they apperated quickly, not wanting to be there when the 'guests' woke up. Next was Adhara, then Marg. After arriving at platform 9 and 10 making sure no people noticed them magically appear, they all ran through the brick wall.

On the other side was a bright red steam train. There were students of all years saying goodbye to their parents and hello to their friends.

Suddenly Leana said, "Cissy!" and we all turned to see the Malfoy's walking over.

Adhara smiled and walked over to hug them.

"I missed you Addy, you grew so much." Narcissa softly spoke.

"I missed you too Cissa. It's been way too long." She responded, "Lucius, Draco, it's nice to see you two also."

Both boys nodded in her direction as a greeting sign.

Narcissa smiled, "Yes It's lovely to see you all really. How about you three, Lucius and I have some tea whilst Draco and Adhara leave for Hogwarts."

Marg was the first one to hug Adhara. And with a tearful and painful hug, Marg told her bye and to have fun and party a lot. To which Regulus immediately said no.

He walked to her next and said. "I remember when I first met you, Addy and now you're going to Hogwarts. Just remember that even though family is everything the ones that aren't your blood will stick to your closer and sometimes more than your own family. Trust me i'd know."

Adhara nodded and they hugged, she also gave Leana a nice hug before waving at them and departing towards the train.

Draco met with two boys named 'Crabbe' and 'Goyle' then left her. She led herself to a compartment. Adhara sat down just as the door slammed open and Cassandra was there with a bright smile.

The girl exchanged a hug and started some small chat.

"I honestly hope you're in Gryffindor. That's where I am!" Cassandra exclaimed.

"Yeah, I don't really know what house I want to be in. Everyone I know is in Slytherin."

"The hat knows best, so I'm sure it'll put you where you belong."

"Hey cool kids." A familiar voice said. They looked up to see Raven right there. She walked in and sat down. "Ready to be sorted?"

Adhara nodded and instantly the train started moving. All of them started to get comfortable for the next 9 hours. During the ride they each, without words, seemed to agree not to talk about their mysterious life mission.

They talked about some big announcement going on during the opening feast. Something about a tournament.

When the train stopped they all got out. Raven and Cass went to the carriages while Adhara went to the boats with the first years. The sight of the castle was absolutely beautiful. No one spoke, too mesmerized by the view. The huge castle of Hogwarts was lit up by the starry night.

Once the boat ride was over people, the first years stared at Adhara because she was clearly older and taller than them. She ignored the stares and they walked in a hall after an introduction from Professor McGonagall.

It was just as beautiful as the outside. The great hall really was great. The roof looked like the dark night outside. Candles helped light up the hall more. There was a stool and a hat that broke out into a song, slightly shocking Adhara.

After the song the professor started calling names. Adhara would be last considering she was older than the kids. After what felt like ever her name was finally called.

"BLACK, ADHARA!" Some gasped dramatically, not a lot of them knew there was another black. No one but close family or friends knew Sirius even had a daughter.

Nonetheless she went up there after after a conversation with the hat it finally screamed something you were all expecting,

"SLYTHERIN!" The house cheered for her and she walked over and sat by Raven. Cass was a Gryffindor but she still cheered for her friend. Which made her receive stares from her fellow Gryffindors.

Adhara looked over to see the Potter's and Weasley's having scowls on their faces. She rolled her eyes at them. Suddenly Dumbledore stood up,

"To all my first years, Welcome. Everyone else, Welcome back. There is an announcement I need to make before we feast. Hogwarts will be hosting the TriWizard Tourname-" Each house broke into cheers of joy and excitement. "But..let me remind you this tournament isn't for the faint hearted. This tournament hasn't been hosted in decades because of the death toll. But, for years they've been planning a better way to host it and Hogwarts gets the luck of Hosting the competition. Mind you there is only ONE person, over 16, that can be selected from all of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang to compete. The winner will get the TriWizard cup and 1,000 galleons."

Chatter broke out once more, everyone didn't seem to care how there was a huge death toll from the games. All they thought about was the large amount of money and how ridiculous that they had to be 16 to compete.

One part of Adhara thought it was a reasonable age and a very risky thing to do. And the other part thought it would be fun to participate there, since it was her first year at Hogwarts.

She is a 5th year student so not only can she not join but she's wouldn't want to either.
