Her face contorted in anguish, her tears streaming down. "You're asking for something I don't have, Neil. I'm empty."

His eyes flashed with pain, but he refused to let go. "I'll fill that emptiness, Avni. I'll be your  everything."

From that day on, Neil was a changed man. He was determined to win Avni's heart, to make her love him like she loved her parents.

He started taking care of her, doing little things that surprised Meera and even Vivya.

He would wake up early to make her breakfast, often surprising her with her favorite dishes. He would help her get ready for the day,help her hold her saree plaits and fix her hair.

Meera watched in amazement as Neil transformed into a loving and caring partner. She had never seen him like this before, and it was hard to believe that this was the same Neil who had once been so reckless and selfish.

Vivya, on the other hand, was still furious with Neil. She would chirp and laugh throughout the day including fighting with Dev,but her eyes would flash with anger whenever she saw Neil. She was determined to make his life hell, and she started doing mischievous things to annoy him.

"You hurt my di right?Just because she is a lamb I won't let her be your scapegoat."

One day, Vivya's prank went too far, and Neil found himself on his back, clutching his chest in mock pain.

Avni rushed to his side, worry etched on her face. "Neil, where does it hurt?"

Although he wasn't that hurt,seeing her his pain suddenly escalated to the brim. He made a show of wincing, his face contorted in agony. "I think I'll be paralyzed, Avni," he whispered, leaning into her chest.

Vivya who was laughing heartily till now,gasped seeing his actions,"Hey back off.......I know you aren't that hurt. Stop hugging my sister."

Neil suddenly yelped dramatically, clutching his back.

"Vivya please, can't you see he is hurtt?,"Avni softly said,the corner of her eyes crinkling in worry.

"Di have you seen him?He is the physical manifestation of the word Genda!!!!,"Her reply made him frown as he narrowed eyes at her while being in Avni's hold. "Better go and check the floor if it has some cracks or not!"

"Vivya beta no,"Avni whispered. She gently helped Neil up, leading him to the bedroom. "Let me take a look," she said, her voice soft.

Vivya watched from the sidelines, a scowl on her face. She was determined to never forgive Neil, but seeing Avni and Neil together, she couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Why couldn't Avni see Neil for who he really was?

But for now, Avni was happy, and that's all that mattered. She had found a new family, a new love, and she was determined to hold onto it, no matter what.

She brought a lotion and asked him  to show her where it hurt, he took off his shirt, revealing his well-built body. Avni flushed, looking away, but Neil pointed to his heart, his eyes locking onto hers.

"In here," he said, his voice husky.

Avni's eyes met his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. A soft smile flashed on her face,"So Vivya wasn't entirely wrong?"

He rested his hands around her shoulder, locking her in,"Your sister isn't entirely fond of me."

"What is your intention at this moment?"
