Michael was waiting patiently at the end of the aisle. nervously rocking on the balls of his feet, chewing at his bottom lip, he tried his hardest not to tear up.

"this is it, the day", he whispers to himself. Marlon didn't fail to hear him, since he was standing right beside him. he places a comforting hand on Michael's shoulder. "keep yourself together, man. you gotta be strong", Marlon says, and Michael could only respond with a small smile. his siblings were also there, waiting alongside him.

and there, after all the waiting, you finally arrived.

Michael didn't know how to feel. Janet was already tearing up behind her shades, with Rebbie and La Toya trying to calm her down. Michael and his brothers just stood there silently, watching as you get closer to them.

Michael had imagined this type of scene every time. him, waiting for you at the end of the aisle, more than excited to get out of the church with you already having his last name.

only this time, the scene was entirely different from what he had imagined. this was beyond what he had expected to happen.

once you stopped, Michael lost it.

tears continously rolled down his cheeks. all the feelings he bottled up finally came out. his siblings remained silent, and—well, you did, too.

"y/n, my love, i love you, so so much". Michael says, staring at you lovingly, yet sadly.

unfortunately, you had no clue he did all that, and you'll never be able to know.

even when wearing a white gown, and lying inside a coffin, Michael found you as the most beautiful person to ever grace the Earth.

this is only a remake of something i've written before. it was really short and i tried making this a tad bit longer than the original. hope you guys liked it.
