Me and bev head out of the store to face bill waiting at the corner for us. He just stood there, mouth slightly agape, blush spread on both of his cheeks, wide-eyed staring a Beverly.

Someone hasn't got over their 3rd grade crush, i thought to myself, then again i can't say anything myself.

Bill smiles for a second, then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a dollar that he offers the Bev "t-thanks." Beverly holds up her pack of cigarettes "Even steven." she winks at him. "Hey I helped Ill take it." I say eagerly as i take the dollar from bill. The two laugh at my actions and I just shrug and put the dollar in my pocket. "Oh, God, he's bleeding. Oh, my God!" Stanley said from the alleyway. I begin walking to the rest of the group with bill and beverly following not so far behind me.

"Ben from soc?" Bev says as she looks at the bleeding boy sat on the crates. "You have to suck the wound before you apply the band-aids. This is 101." Richie said as eddie tried to apply to band-aid to Ben's stomach."You don't know what you're talking about." Eddie scoffed while hitting richie's hand away, preventing him interfering with him.

I started walking closer up to them, followed by Bill and Bev, she notices Ben's injuries. "Are you okay? That looks like it hurts." She said with a deeply concerned look spread across her face. "see told ya, looks like he's been killed" I said after I took my place standing in the middle of Stan and Bill.

"Oh. No, I'm good. I just... fell." Ben said nervously. "Yeah. Right into Henry Bowers." Richie said as he pointed out the obvious 'H' shaped cut eddie was currently trying to disinfect. "S-shut it, R-richie." Bill stuttered. "Why? It's the truth."Richie says, Ben just shrugs at richie's comment.

"You sure they got the right stuff to fix you up? " Bev she smiles at Ben, who smiles back at her.

did she just make a new kids on the block reference?

Ben stared at the floor with a small blush forming on his face. He likes bev, and bill likes bev. Well isn't this going to be interesting to watch unravel.

"You know, we'll take care of him. Uh, thanks again, Beverly." Bill says genuinely. "Sure. Maybe I'll see you around." She says and smiles at me, I smile at her back. I already feel a best friend like bond between us so of corse I was not going to hesitate on spending more time with Beverly this summer.

"Yeah, we were thinking about g-going to the q-quarry tomorrow, if you wanna c- come." Bill suggested. Richie and Ben both look surprised about Bill inviting her to join the group. "yea, it would be amazing if you did." I say smiling at her.
"Good to know. Thanks. " she smiles and waves as she walks away.

"Nice going bringing up Bowers in front of her." Stanley says in a hushed tone looking at Richie as Beverly leaves. "Yeah, dude, you heard what she did." Eddie said after he stood up and dusted to small bits of pebbles off his shorts from where he was sat previously. "What'd she do?" Ben asked.

I know ben is new but god I would have thought he would have heard about that rumour, considering it somehow always comes up. Honestly i feel so much sympathy for beverly, i know she would have never done what everyone said she did but for some reason others don't see her the same way I do, poor girl.

"More like, "Who'd she do?" From what I hear, the list is longer than my wang" Richie jokes. I simply roll my eyes at the boy and wonder if richie actually believes those twisted rumours. "That's not saying much." Stan scoffs. I look at him and let out a small laugh and richie gives us both the middle finger. charming. "They're just rumors." I say to ben, reassuring him and bill, stan and eddie nod along.

"Anyway, Bill had her back in third grade. They kissed in the school play." Me and Stan smirked at bill and then at eachother. Bill looks to his side to distract from the huge smile spread across his face. "The reviews said you can't fake that sort of passion." Richie finishes.

"Now, pip-pip and tally-ho, my good fellows, I do believe this chap requires our utmost attention." Richie says in a horrible british accent as he pushes Eddie forward. "Get in there, Dr. K. Come on, fix him up." he said, pointing to the cut on ben's stomach. "Why don't you shut the fuck up, Einstein, because I know what I'm doing, and I don't want you doing the British guy with me right now." Eddie says as he bends down to once again work on Ben's injuries. "Suck the wound. Get in there." Richie says in the british accent.

I look down at my watch and then remember: "ah shit I gotta get home, I'll see you guys tomorrow." I say as I go get my bike. "wait, want me to ride with you?" Stanley offers nicely. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd enjoy the company." I accept happily. "no problem, see you guys later." Stan waves of the guys as we both ride off.

Bɪʟʟ's ᴘᴏᴠ

"awww look at them being all couple-ish and all that shit." Richie says half sarcastic, half not, as we watch the pair cycle down the ally. "I don't see why they don't just cut the bullshit and get together already." Eddie adds. "wait they're not a thing?" Ben says. "S-surprisingly no, t-they both de-definitely like eachother though." I say, remembering the first time y/n told me she had a crush on stanley in the 4th grade, and stanley admitting to me, richie and eddie that he likes y/n within the first week we met her. I had kept her secret safe with me for years but it was clearly obviously they both liked each other.

Not so much of a secret really is it?

"Holy shit do you remember that one time back in 3rd grade when stan told us he liked y/n, you would have thought he would have made a move by now." Eddie says as he uncovered the memory.

"I bet you any money they have already done it." Richie says. "that's disgusting rich." Eddie sneered. "your disgusting ed's." Richie replied. "No i'm not! and stop calling me eds." Eddie demanded. "Okay fine eddie spaghetti." Richie smirked. "s-stop it rich, y-your making him m-mad." I say as Eddie look like he was about to go in a rampage. "good, I like it when ed's over here goes off on one it's hillarious!" Richie says as he nudges eddie's arm.

"THATS IT RICHIE." Eddie shouts. Richie laughs and gets on his bike and rides away. "FUCK YOU ASSHOLE" Eddie yells and returned to me and ben. Ben looked at me and Eddie with a 'is this what he's usually like' look.

"well I better get going." Ben says and eddie agrees. Eddie gets on his bike and ben on the back of mine and we all ride home.

When we find georgie this summer is going to be the best!
