There's only one way to find out, well there's a few but i'm going to do it my way. I'm going back to winter, find out what happened and what i am. I must be some sort of fairy or elve right? But how? Both my parents are human and fairies and elves only life on Alfheim.

As i had just gotten to the front door i heard the door of Loki's private library open. I quickly stepped outside closing the door behind me, making sure he didn't see me and so didn't know where i was going. Since he would surely try to stop me.

I ran to the barrier into Winter, wings appearing again. This would also be a great opportunity to practice my flying, i thought. I focussed on my wings and after ten minutes or so, i was able to fly pretty good. It really wasn't that hard. You just have to use your arms for balance, the rest happens automatically. I flew around for about half an hour, when i noticed  the bush with the winter-roses. I remember it from the first time i got in this garden. In fact it's the only thing i remember. It had felt like i was sleeping till Loki touched my shoulder and i had 'woken up'.

I landed next to the bush and looked at it. There were winter-roses, which was not very logical as i assume they only grow during the actual winter. It's still autumn. If i remember correctly the roses were there when Loki found me the first time. I don't know if they were there before i came here or not, but my gut tells me that i had made them grow. What if i...

I touched one of the roses that wasn't fully grown and the second i touched it, it grew. But that wasn't all. At the same moment i saw something. It was like i was dreaming. I lay in a cot while a woman was bending over me smiling happily. I pulled my hand back and the image dissapeared out of my mind.

"What the fuck was that?!" I said shocked, while looking at my hand, like it would show me an answer. Then i heard something from behind a tree on my left. I quickly looked over and saw that it was an animal. Not just any animal, a giant one. My mouth dropped open by it's beauty. I had never seen anything like it.

Even though the creature looked really scary there was something familiar to it's face. I was to scared to move but i knew that staying here would be really dangerous. I took a step backwards not taking my eyes of the creature and stepped on a branch. The branch cracked making a lot of noise. The creature, a manticore, turned to me. It took slow strikes towards me like i was it's pray. Which i'm pretty sure i am. Once it reached me i froze. It was to late to run now, so my only option is not moving at all and waiting for the manticore to leave. The manticore slowly walked around me and then stopped when it was back in front of me. I looked up to meet it's eyes as the creature was twice my size. Our eyes met and now i was sure there was something familiar about him. Yes i know it's a him. His you-know-what was big just like the rest of him. Something in the manticore's eyes showed me that he was not going to harm me.

I slowly reached my hand out. At first the manticore growled but when i turned my head away i felt it's nose brush against my hand. Then he started licking it like a puppy. I turned to face him again and saw that he wasn't as scary as he seemed to be. I kept petting him and decided to give him a name.
