In the fresh early morning of a brand new school day, a young girl sat upright, stretching her limbs as she did a powerful yawn. Once she finishes her quick stretch, she places her hands in front of her, before quickly raising both again to rub her eyes as she does lip smacks. As she finishes, she realizes what the date was, her energy instantly being refilled with her bouncing straight out of bed, heading to the wardrobe to pick up her outfit. After getting dressed into her proper school attire, she rushes to the bathroom, admiring herself in the mirror which reflected the youthful girl's pretty face that had sported a wide smile. She took out her toothpaste and toothbrush, applying the contents of the toothpaste onto the toothbrush and used it to brush her teeth. Upon finishing, she cleans her brush and places them back, before hurrying downstairs and getting a quickly made cereal as breakfast. To occupy herself whilst eating, she'd scroll through her phone.
Another young girl woke up, feeling tired and grumpy. She looks around her room and sighs, she sits upright and sits there for quite some time and then gets out of bed, she slowly walks to her bathroom, grabbing all her items for a shower. She enters the bathroom and takes a shower. She finished showering, putting on her school attire mumbling "Another day of ignorance here i come..." She finished putting it on and went and finished her light makeup. She walks out of the bathroom finished and then goes downstairs only to hear her parents arguing yet again. "Why mom, why dad," She mumbled, she made her way towards the kitchen only to be stopped by her drunk father. "What is it dad?" "Do you not see where you're walking!!!" She got shouted at by her father, the father is throwing more insults than Stone Cold Steve Austin could ever do."But i didn't do anything wrong dad" She gets interrupted by him with him grabbing her by her shoulder slapping her across the face. "YOU'RE A FUCKING FAILURE TO OUR FAMILY" She gets yet shouted out, but this time she walked away with a single tear drop escaping her eye as she walks. She quickly opens the fridge and grabs some off brand cheerios, she gets a bowl and pours the cereal first while looking at the drunken father dozing off. "Why father why,"she mumbled as she kept pouring the contents of the cereal box. She looks back and sees a small mess around the bowl, she grabs some papir and quickly picks up the cereal that dropped and swipes some fake sweat from her forehead while blowing out of her mouth. She grabs some milk and pours it in swiftly, she takes the cereal and milk back in place and grabs a spoon along the way and makes her way back to the cereal with the spoon. She sits down eating the cereal in a depressed mood.
While on the other side, the cheerful girl has created her own lunch and placed it in the lunchbox. She places any used kitchenware in the sink, rolled her sleeves up and washed the dishes while singing a happy tune to herself. Finishing her quick wash, she placed them in the dish rack, before gathering her items into her backpack, putting it on. She quickly took out a post-it-note, writing a quick 'Might come home late' and sticking it to the fridge for her parents to see once they're up from their peaceful sleep. The young girl then goes to her nearest mirror, posing for it as she snaps a picture with her phone to post on her social media, a trend that she saw her friends do and wanted to be a part of. Then she wore her earphones, played her morning walk playlist as she made it out the door, with a wide smile, ready to face the days' challenges.
The depressed girl finished her cereal, she quickly washed the bowl and spoon, she walked quickly over to the dish rack placing the items. She walked quickly to pack her bag for her upcoming day at school, she got all her books and zipped the backpack, she walked to a mirror looking at herself for the last time before going to school. "If only I had friends." She mumbled those depressing words reminding her of her unfortunate situation. She quickly slid her finger on her grazed jawline and went towards her front door grabbing her jacket and shoes from the rack, she walked out with a distressed look thinking of what could happen today. "Come on, you got this, you're stronger than this." She mumbled while walking towards her school while taking her headphones. She played her Reasoning to live playlist and kept on walking.
While on the bright girl's walk to school, she greeted anyone passing her with a 'Good morning', spreading her infectious smile, which was easily contaminated with her oozing energy and cheeriness. With a spring to her steps, she arrived to school, greeting her fellow friends from the same grade, making sure to ask them about their weekends and overall their wellbeing, which was expected from her known behaviour and something that the classmates of the grade grew to appreciate.
But the depressed girl's walk was way different. She got glares on her way to school or that people wouldn't even notice her presence at all. Her energy was off putting as if you would look at something very strange and be creeped out, her smile is something that not many people know even exists and on top of that her sad energy could affect even the smallest fly, she arrives at school making sure to look down not wanting people to look in shame nor in pity at her, she walked straight towards class without greeting anyone nor even looking at them. Looks were thrown at her as she swiftly makes her way towards the class, it's a never ending of sadness for this girl, she walks inside the classroom only to have some people snicker and giggle at her grazed jaw, she quickly makes her way to a seat ignoring them with her sad yet dark energy. She knew how much her classmates hated her but that never stopped her from going to school. Her classmates always thought of her as a disgusting creature that shouldn't even be in this school because of her supposed ill things that she has inflicted on others, yet in her own heart she knows most of that isn't true. She looked around the classroom and everyone looked away from her. "Why, are people so, dumb in this world" she mumbled while she keeps a angry frown while waiting for her teacher to show up.
Meanwhile the cheerful girl arrived into the classroom, with the students in there becoming like angels, greeting the girl and wishing a good morning, something that the girl also reciprocated. People looked at her in awe and admiration, happy to have a bright optimist in their classroom. The girl looked around the classroom, looking for a seat and saw one near a familiar girl who had a negative expression on her face, and that wouldn't do for the bright girl. She walked towards the girl, and took a seat next to her, only to earn looks of pity from the others that she didn't realize that she was getting. Her classmates thought of the bright girl as an angel, however found it shameful that she was wasting her time on the infamous girl.
"Good morning."
