Upon awakening, I found myself on top of Puppy. He had fallen asleep, and I don't think he was going to wake up anytime soon. I smiled to myself, giggling a bit before getting off of Puppy, ruffling his hair as I walked out of the basement.

"Now, what to have for breakfast." I whispered, looking around the fridge. Waffles? Why not? Puppy seems to like them.

"Waffles it is then." I said, putting them into the toaster and pacing around the kitchen. I smiled to myself, feeling, good. I started to hum to myself, thinking up lyrics to the aimless vibrations I was creating. It was a song about, an arsonist. A crazed, arsonist. That's all there really is to it.

I smiled wider, stopping in front of the counter and leaning up against it, before the waffles popped out of the toaster and I screamed.

"God I need to stop doing that."

Grabbing the waffles, I put them on a plate and walked downstairs, finding that Puppy was now awake.

"Morning Nagito." he grimmest. I smiled at him, giving 'Hajime' a small 'mhm' in response. He seemed to get more annoyed by that, scowling at me as I handed him his food. I untied the restraints, humming to the song I mentioned earlier. 'Hajime' looked confused at me. I think it was because, the ends of his limbs were still messed up. I grabbed his wrists and tied them behind his back, taking the chair back upstairs.

"The FUCK NAGITO?!" 'Hajime' yelled from downstairs. I put the chair back into its original place. I leaned my head at the opening of the basement, calling down to 'Hajime' saying

"Eat the food~" before walking away and closing the door. 'Hajime' was very displeased, considering he screamed at me to do something for another hour after that, but that's not all that important now is it. There's no point in wasting your time on pointless people like him, so why should I? He's just as helpless as a fish out of water. Can't do anything, but sit there, and die. How indescribably, displeasing...

With that out of the way, might as well do something right? Why not, go outside? I don't necessarily like it, just too bored here, and all of 'Hajime's' yelling is going to make my ears bleed.

"Ok, got the coat, the umbrella incase I need it, and the, boxcutter? So I did have this. Huh...I'm an idiot!" I laughed, holding the boxcutter in hand, putting it back into my pocket and walking out. I had my hood up, so hopefully no one from school would recognize me. They would probably be heading to school now, considering it's 6-7 in the morning. How displeasing. I had to choose the most inconvenient times to go out. This is truly, and utterly, embarrassing for someone like me.

"Hay, don't I know you from somewhere?" a familiar voice asked. It was the voice of, Sonia Nevermind. The Ultimate Princess. I might've already specified that before.

"H-huh?" I asked, shocked. She pulled back my hoodie, seeing my hair and getting excited.

"So it is you Komaeda!" she exclaimed, pointing at me. My face started to heat up, I think because of embarrassment. I looked away from her and walked away, pulling th hood over my hair. I found a big crowd soon enough, walking into it and hoping to lose Sonia. I thought that no one would care if I went missing from school for a few days. Turns out I was wrong.

Walking away for a bit, I found, a store that sold tv's, and one channel was playing on one of them on the display that caught my eye. It was a report, for a high school girl's murder. The man on the screen was talking about two missing children, and, one murdered girlfriend. The girl was stabbed in the neck. And it was at this point, they were talking about what I did.
