"How naïve exactly are you?".
This was the last thing he could say before he was dragged back to his room by the guards. Seeing him like that broke my heart. None of us wanted to let go of each other. But I can't go against my mom's words.
7:45 pm..
I was sitting in the lobby alone. I had nothing to do. Everyone else was working. Mom was dealing with some important paperwork and she didn't need help.
I was silently waiting for mom to finish her work so that we could leave together, when suddenly a bunch of doctors rushed towards the elevator in panic.
"What happened?" One of the receptionists asked her colleague.
"The patient in room 503 seems to have slit his wrist." She replied.
'Wait. I used to work on that floor. 503 must mean...' I gasped at the thought. I rushed towards the elevator too but it had already departed. I didn't have another choice but to take the stairs.
I rushed to the 5th floor and yet again, I was late. But I saw mom and Mrs Lu standing outside Namjoon's room and discussing something.
"What? What happened here?" I asked, panting.
"Why are you here again? I told you to stay away from him, didn't I?" Mom half scolded.
"I heard Namjoon slit his wrist! How could I stay still after listening to that?" I argued.
"She's right Mrs Jung. Y/n has the right to see him at least." Mrs Lu said in a pleading tone.
Mom couldn't help but agree. She sighed but let me go to him anyway. They moved Namjoon to operation ward they said. So I ran there immediately.
"How is he?" I asked as soon as I found the doctors coming out.
"He's out of danger but he did lose a lot of blood. We're not sure when he'll wake up. Let's hope for the best." The doctor said calmly as he walked away.
I didn't know if it was a good news or a bad one. I didn't know if I was happy to hear that he was out of danger or worried that he may not wake up for a long time. All I could do at that moment was to wait.
I sat on the chair next to Namjoon's bed as his body layed still in front of me. He was wearing an oxygen mask and his breathing was slow. Other than that he showed no signs of movement and layed there with closed eyes.
"Why would you do something like that? You know I can't go against mom.' I whispered as I held his uninjured hand tightly in mine.
"You were supposed to be here with me. You promised. So where are you now? I shouldn't have trusted you.." I sobbed.
Not long after, mom and another doctor showed up. They stood outside as they chatted about Namjoon after enquiring about him from me.
"Do you wanna go home?" Mom asked after the other doctor left. Her voice was gentle and filled with concern. I nodded my head in a no.
"I know you're worried about him. I'll stay here instead so go home and rest up." She said patting my left shoulder, as if she knew how worried I was.
"I can't leave him. It's all my fault anyway." I mumbled.
She sighed and said nothing. Instead, she sat herself down on the bed next to Namjoon's legs as she looked at me.
"I'll let you look after him. You can be his incharge again when he wakes up." She said. I glanced at her once, not believing her words.
"The doctor that came here with me was Namjoon's uncle. He asked me to make you his incharge again so that he doesn't harm himself again." She continued. "But this time you have to be extra careful. He might try something again or worse, he might harm you too."
"He'd never do that." I argued. "He wouldn't have done this in the first place if I didn't leave him." I cried.
She didn't say anything after that but left the room after a few minutes.
"I hope you know that I'd never do something to hurt you." She sighed before closing the door.

Namjoon stayed that way for two days. He didn't wake up the whole time. The sight of him laying down like that made my heart clench. He usually sits in his room with those deep dark eyes but I couldn't even see them anymore.
Fortunately though, he opened his eyes on the third day...
I think I might have to get hospitalised as well. The way hybe drops photos I-
Anyway I hope you're enjoying.
