"Here are your clothes, I'm keeping them next to Namjoon's." Mom explained while she organised my things in Namjoon's hospital room.

"Are you sure you can stay the night here?" She asked for the thousandth time.

"Yes mom I'll be fine and I'll call you if I need anything." I said and rolled my eyes funnily.

"Alright. I'll leave then. Be careful." She said laughing. She kissed my forehead and waved Namjoon a goodbye before leaving.

"It's 7 pm. Pack up your stuff. We leave at 1 am." Namjoon ordered.

I took out all my clothes and other necessities and put them back into the bag. I also took out Namjoon's things and stuffed them into the same bag.

"All done. Are you sure you'll be alright? You will be able to walk right?" I asked worriedly.

"If my legs give up, you can give me a piggyback ride." He joked. I hit his arm jokingly and he fake cried.

It felt as usual. Sitting and talking to Namjoon about everything in the world. It was the most comfortable place to me. It always surprised me how much he knew about the whole world. There was hardly anything existing that he didn't know about. And I loved to listen to his knowledge and opinions about it all.

Finally the time came. The time we had to get moving. The time to leave everything behind and run away to protect what belonged to someone dear. Someone I loved.

"I think it's time to get going." He said.

"What if someone saw us?" I asked nervously.

"We have to be careful. Just trust me and follow my lead." He suggested with a reassuring smile and I nodded.

He slowly slid open the door and looked around. It was dark and no one was in the hallway.

"Follow me." He directed and so I did. We slipped into the the hallway quietly and pressed the elevator button.

"Hide." He said and we hid on either side of the elevator. The doors slowly opened emitting light from the inside. Namjoon peeked inside quietly, and once he was sure no one was inside, he pulled me and closed the door. Down we went to the basement.

"Do we have a car?" I asked.

"No." He answered.

"Then why basement?"

"It's only obvious. No one goes the the basement at 1 in the morning. And there are guards and receptionists in the lobby. We could easily get caught." He explained.

True. Why didn't I think of that?

The doors slid open once again and we hid like last time. Again Namjoon peeked to check if anyone was there.

"Clear. We need to run now." Namjoon looked at me with an 'are-you-ready?' look and I nodded nervously. He took my hand we leaped out of the elevator, running towards the exit.

"Can you go check if anyone's there at the entrance? You're not a patient so no one would suspect you." He asked.

"But what if I get caught?" I asked.

"If you see someone, tell them you're out for fresh air and make them leave. I'm right behind you so don't worry." He reassured.

"Okay." I agreed.

I took a deep breath and went outside. The cool breeze felt refreshing on my face. I looked around a bit. There was no one. Just a guard sitting at the main gate of the hospital. I walked up to him with courage with a lie ready in my head.

"Hey, the receptionists are calling you inside." I said, the most common thing, I know.

"They don't usually call me. What are you up to, girl?" He asked rudely, instantly cutting through my lie.

"No.. they really are." I stuttered.

"I don't know what you're up to but I'm instructed not move from here and I haven't in two years." He scolded.

"But-" before I could say anything else something hard landed on the man's head knocking him right out of his consciousness. I saw him fall down on the hard ground with a thud. My eyes grew wide at the scene as Namjoon's face appeared right in front of me when the guard fell. Blood started gushing out of his head non stop as he laid cold there.

"What did you do?" I gasped, too surprised to move.

"Time to run." He gave me a mischievous smile and grabbed my hand trying to run.

"We can't leave him here like this!" I argued snatching my hand away from him. "I'm a doctor and he's hurt!"

"This is not the time Y/n!" He fought.

"He'll die!"

"He won't die. He'll get back up in a few minutes. If we don't hurry we'll get caught!" He said and grabbed my hand again and ran.

I can't even say I didn't know this side of Namjoon. Because I knew he was capable of doing something like this.

At this point, I started to question myself...

Is this the right thing to do?
