"YOUR PARENTS ARE DEAD ABBY!" Lola yelled over me.

"I'm sorry, they where murdered last night when you were by your friends sleepover".

I stayed strong trying to hold back the tears and also trying to get out the words I need to say " Why?....WHY?.... why? Aren't there more people here trying to find out what happened to my parents...WHY!!!?" I yelled, trying to cover up my sadness.

I move my head up slowly from looking at the ground to looking at detective Lola right in her eyes waiting for my answer with mad look in my eyes.

"There is a man that got hit with a hard object like a brick in the head and got stabbed about sixteen times." She said in a sad way, but it was like she was acting.

"All the other detectives in our small town are trying to find out what happened to that man. It's related to a recent terrorist attack so that's why no more detectives are here ok Abby now calm down".

That is when I realized that she has red and black eyes so I had to ask,

"Have you ever worn contacts in your life?" Then the answer hit me when she replied

"No, never." Then she turns to the door and tells me,

"Sorry for your lost, Abby." and just walks out the door. I take the time to hear her drive away to let it all out.

"Why, why did this happen to me why now?" Then I realized the detective didn't seem to interested to solve this mystery.

"If nobody is going to find out what happened to my parents, then I will find out what happened and who did this if is the last thing I do."
