chapter 7 cold as ice

As the sun rises I walked down the hall step by step with my tired heavy feet to check on Zoe to see if everything was alright. By the time I was half way down the hall I felt this shock of a ice cold presents each step I took it felt more and more like i was walking through the north pole. By the time i got to the room it felt like i was about to freeze to death i reached for the door nob and opened it with my remaining strength but when the door opened it was like a hot summer day that warmed me up and gave me strength almost instantly. What just happened i don't know maybe it was my aunt of one of my other family members trying to tell my something about Zoe but i am to blind to see it right now to see it " what the heck" i said . When i got a good look into the room Zoe was still asleep like nothing happened i looked around and nothing seemed wrong so i decided to leave her to sleep. Going back down the hallway nothing happened no ice cold feeling but after i got the bottom of the stairs i felt like the world was spinning and fell to the ground. Was I having another vision or was this something else all of a sudden it felt like I was in a dark room " HELLO IS ANYONE THERE!" after 5 minutes with no reply i saw a light. I walked up to it keeping my guard up but when I got there I saw me at 6 years old playing in the cabin and finding a secret room that had cameras all over the house, cabin, and some other places but my mom walked in on me and said "your not suppose to be in here go play with your brother and sister." Then i replied "what is this room mommy" and she said "you'll find out when your older." Slowly i started to fade into light and i woke up " good morning sleepy head" smiled Zoe and " well i felt bad for you doing so much for me and i did nothing for you. So when I found you asleep on the floor i moved you to the couch and made you breakfast." I was speech less all i could say was " oh um thank you" so I sat down at the table and ate eggs, bacon, and pancakes. "OK I am very busy so I you stay here don't leave the cabin or you might die. If someone comes, behind that painting is a red switch flip it and go to your room as fast as you can." I said scaring her. I started walking to a hall behind the stairs
