I was appalled at Sam's eating, "Dude that's gnarly," frowning as I watched him tear into a slice of pepperoni before looking up and dropping it as he chewed. Mouth wide open. I turned to Lucy for a second as he picked his piece back up shoving it into his mouth, "so how do you like your job," she looked at me wiping her mouth with a napkin before swallowing her food, "It's uhm, not really something I wanted to do but I'm starting to enjoy it a bit and Max is nice as well, he asked me to dinner yesterday well I mean for tomorrow night but he's sweet I like him a lot." Sam and I looked at her in curiosity, "Max? Is he the uh, the guy we met on your first day back on the pier?" Her face lit up at my interest in the conversation, "yes, he really is sweet. I would love for Michael and you to meet him Sam, maybe you too Rune, properly I mean?"

I looked at her expectant face, "Yeah sure mom, sounds groovy," Her smile was large as she excused herself after a few minutes, "alright, I think it's time I head on home make sure your grandpa eats some dinner, anyone want a ride?" I lifted my keys at her as I noticed the sun was going to set soon, "can I stay? I can always get a ride from Michael or Rune." I nodded at her without her even asking me to. We watched her leave after she hugged us, "Comic book store?" I looked into his shiny eyes, "Yeah let's go bother some frog's," Pulling a lollipop out of my pocket and winking at him as Sam stared at me in shock, "do you always carry candy in your pockets?" I nodded with a grin, "doesn't it melt though?" I deflated, nodding again and he gave a look that made me laugh, one mixed with disgust and pity.

I giggled as I popped it into my mouth when we walked out the door, "Race you." I was quick running into the direction of my bike as he chased after me. We had parked my bike near Michael's only knowing it was his as Sam had it memorized from the amount of rides Michael had given him over the past two years since it was bought. My plan in tricking the blonde working as I skirted in a sharp turn to the right.

The comic store was empty again when we finally walked in with reddened faces, only the keepers of the shop were present, "oh honey, I'm home," I walked in letting them see my face which also meant they could see my body, my outfit not necessarily being a great choice with a cropped top and shorts but at least my shoes were a matching shade, my pretty little black reebok high tops, it was a pretty cute outfit which had gained the attention of the frog brothers pretty well, just as I envisioned with my evil mastermind brain. Said brain I was slowly losing, "hey Rune." I wiggled my fingers at Edgar as I passed him, hopping up to sit on the counter when I noticed their parents weren't sleeping in the store or even present at all today, "hey Alan, can you come here for a second?"

I watched him put down the comic books back into the box next to him and walk over to me, I leaned forward grabbing his dog tags pulling him closer without actually using any force on the chain so I wouldn't damage it. Edgar was turned around, his back facing us as he talked to Sam, "I'm cold come here," He walked closer and swallowed with a nervous look on his face, Edgar almost yelled Alan's name a bit too loudly telling him to grab 'the comic' and when Alan looked at me as I pouted whining his name as he poofed away towards his brother before rushing back to me while I was leaning backwards onto the palms of my hands.

"Hey," I opened my eyes, looking at him smiling before leaning up and pulling him towards me again while Sam and Edgar talked about who knows what. He turned around as I wrapped my arms around him, we watched the shop and our individual brothers while I hugged him from behind, instantly warming up my neck as I laid my head on his shoulder, "so I see you two are wrapping my brother up into your ranks huh?" He chuckled before going stoic, "Uhm...no, I mean unless he wants to join us but we're more of a team by ourselves now you know." I hummed into his ear before closing my eyes, "Just be nice to him for me, won't ya honey." He relaxed at my whisper, laying his head back onto my shoulder, I turned my head slightly to look at him, lifting my hand up to trace his jaw a little, I felt him freeze up his body tensing slightly under my ministrations, "You've got a cut, what happened?"

I watched him swallow, his adam's apple bobbing, "It was nothing, I'm okay." I was in serious thought at the moment, "Why'd we ever break up?" He sighed, leaning his head back against my shoulder to look at me properly, "Truly?" I nodded, "I don't know why but, I was angry, I thought that maybe you would leave me when you skipped junior year, maybe you'd date a senior and leave us, leave me." I looked at him sadly, "I never would have left you Alan, I was mad crazy for you." he chuckled at my words as I kissed his neck lightly. "I know that now, just not at the moment it mattered, but we were definitely amazing together though."

He chuckled in my ear as I giggled at his words while looking at the comic shop to realize we were alone turning back to him I sucked a spot on his neck an inch or so above his collarbone as I once again whispered against him, "Yea we were, weren't we." I popped my lollipop into my mouth and looked around.

I looked at him, lifting my head up slightly, turning back to look at him as he sat up off my shoulder turning further towards me. "Kiss for the road?" I looked him in the eyes, huffing out a laugh, smiling, "for the road huh?" With a quick glance at the door I took my lollipop stick out of my mouth and looked back at him expectantly before leaning in with a tilt of my head, our lips meeting with a softness as we kissed, my arms pulling him closer as he held my waist. "Yeah for the road," He whispered against my lips and with a smirk, I flicked him with a laugh before pulling him closer until I was flush against him, our lips molding together once again, not pulling away for a few minutes till we were both panting with the need to breathe.

I smiled with him as we started laughing, throwing my head back slightly as he rested his forehead against the middle of my collar bone. I had my head turned towards the door watching the people pass by as I played with the chain on the back of his neck, "one hella groovy kiss baby." We started laughing again, it probably looked like we were wigging out on something but I could care less and he would only act like this with me anyway so I enjoyed it while I could. "What do you think, hold on let me rephrase that. Do you think, people would believe us if we told them we dated?" I thought about it and looked at him, we both answered at the same time bursting out into giggles, "nope."

We had finally stopped laughing after a few minutes and had caught our breath when Edgar and Sam came back, "Are you two okay?" We looked over at them as I kicked my feet, "Yeah Sammy we are." He helped me off the counter before hugging me and whispering in my ear hidden from the boys, "You're still amazing," I giggled until he bit my neck making me gasp harshly in my surprise, pulling back he smiled at me, "For the road." I lightly smacked him in the chest and handed my sucker over before walking towards Sam and Alan who were preoccupied with each other once again.
