I was annoyed as we talked, just standing there, "so do you know why, she lied about being there?" I grabbed his wrist pulling him towards the snack stall, "I have no idea to be honest." He was behind me for a few moments when he said, "If he does this," he motioned to my injuries, "Michael might even kill you if she tells him to at this point." Falling back into his arms dramatically, "one could only hope." He snorted, pulling me up, "yea, no, not happening."

We had ordered some candy from the little stall before I walked ahead, twirling slightly, posing my leg perched up in a cute position, "Cute outfit no?" He looked away as I giggled at his mock expression before looping our arms together, "so I noticed yesterday that your first aid kit was military style, what happened to the hippie flower bag your mom had?" He stopped looking me in the eyes with a serious expression, "we burned it in a barrel last year when they went to burning man." I stared at his expression listening intently before we both cracked smiles snorting and doubling over in laughter.

"Totally radical dude," I couldn't stop giggling, it was so bad I was red faced, almost crying as he tried to hold in his laughter, "Okay miss surfer, gon' show me how to hang tight and boogie?" I was smiling at his face totally in the conversation, ignoring everything around us, "Oh wanna learn the seventy's surfer slang, okay max cheesy babe."

I looked ahead of us seeing Michael and Star, still not noticing the four boys watching me and Alan, "Is that your brother?" I nodded linking our arms again, "Yeah, let's steer clear. I don't feel like having to wash the blood off tonight." We turned walking back to the comic shop moving through a slight crowd that was forming around us. When we turned Alan was in front of me slightly as his arm slid off, grasping my hand. I heard the oh so familiar sound again, looking around my eyes and landed on the group of boys. I wasn't able to tear my eyes away from them, even standing on my tippy toes as we walked so I could see them better. I lost sight of their eyes as we turned into another section walking towards the comic shop.

"Hey, where'd you two head off too huh?" Sam was smiling as he winked at us. I made a face at him as we walked over, ruffling his hair. I hopped onto the counter next to him, no way would I tell him anything regarding what me and Alan do, "So did you two?" I flicked his head snorting as Edgar and Alan talked near the doors. "If you must know, we had sex on the carousel," I slapped the back of his head when I realized he was picturing it, the disgust was very prominent on his face, "oh my god, no, we didn't do anything, nimrod." I hopped off as the boys started talking about stuff in a hushed whisper, "okay well, I shall see you boys later then, behave okay." I walked off out of the store as they ignored me going back to their oh so private conversation, weird yet normal.

I really wanted something sweet, scratch that, sweet and salty was my goal or just something with salt on it. Maybe it was because of the fact I was craving french fries. "Chili cheese fries, wicked." I walked around trying to get through the crowds until I made it to the open side of the pier, running over to a vendor I hopped in line rocking back and forth on my feet. It didn't take long getting my food but afterwards I ended up wandering aimlessly.

I found myself back at the comic shop but before I could even say hello, Edgar had grabbed my wrist, stunning me and turning me around, "Uhm?" I turned towards him confused, "Look, we can't afford any distractions right now Rune, you need to leave us alone..." He was very blunt with his words and all they did was annoy me as I looked between the boys. Alan sat there looking down as his arms crossed his chest, not sparing me an explanation or even a simple glance. Last thing I did was walkout, not even saying anything. I was left inside my head after that confrontation and my annoyance only grew as a few children ran into me covering me in some kind of drink.

After a while I was pulled away from my depressed thoughts when an arm was thrown around my shoulder and a small bag was set on my lap. "Hey babe, miss me?" I was stunned for a minute till I looked at him, "Marko?" I realized I hadn't really ever talked to him. Our only interaction was the carousel and the shop, and the go fish but we'll never speak of that again, losing cards is not in my life plan, "haven't seen you in quite a while," I looked at him under my eyelashes as he smirked, eyes staring into mine, I decided why not flirt a bit. I would take this as a sign, besides, I was attracted to Marco quite a bit, he was more than just passively cute, "just gotta look for me babe."

He was playing with my hair while I went a bit more forward, turning to lay in his lap. My legs bent feet against the armrest of the bench. I held onto the bag so it wouldn't fall, setting it on the bench next to his leg and my side as my other arm stretched above my head, "so what's with the bag, doing some light shopping?" He was trailing my body with his eyes when he answered, "it's for you, it's a set I kept the other one."

I was surprised I didn't expect anything. I guess he noticed my emotion on it as he grabbed the bag, pulled out a paper wrapped object, handing it over to me, "Marco... Why?" He seemed smug until I asked why, "you don't like it?" He genuinely seemed upset as he turned his head away resting it against his hand as he bit his nails, I giggled grabbing his hand which made him look at me as I smiled, "No, no, I love it, thank you I just don't quite understand why you'd give me it, why not add it to your collection?" His face brightened up pretty fast as he pointed to his jacket showing the new square patch that adorned it, it was an exact match to the one in my hand, the patch was a picture of vampire fangs dripping blood.
