The next day came upon. It was a refreshing Saturday morning. The air was cold, the mist and the fog occupied all of the town's streets and corners. Some kids were already playing at the playground. Wow, I'm a little surprised that there are still kids, who actually wake up early in the weekends. Usually, they'd stay up till 3 AM and then wake up after 12 hours... well, at least that's what I heard.
Here was Childe, walking down the street, god knows where. He wore a very noticeable red scarf. It was bright red, as if it was on fire. It really matched with his also flaming ginger hair.
After a little while of walking, he stopped near a house. He looked at the house, with a curious look. Rummaged his pocket, and thought: "Ah, it'd be a waste to go there in day time..."
As he had a disappointed look on his face, he continued walking down the street. This time, he simply went into a store. Childe instantly skipped all the aisles, walking straight to the alcohol section. He grabbed a couple of bottles and went to pay for it. Guess who he noticed as walking out of the store? That's right! it was Zhongli! Childe got a little surprised. At the same second, he came back into his senses and moved the bag with the bottles a little bit behind him, as if trying to hide it. Zhongli also noticed him, so he nodded to him while walking past him, as if nothing ever happened. Although, he looked... odd today. His under eyes were a little darker then usual, only noticeable if you really look into it. The mood was off, too. He seemed irritated by something. "Jeez, does he really hate me that much?" Childe jokingly thought. Although, he was a bit concerned.
Evening occurred. The sun went down a long while ago, because it's winter. The golden lights in the street made everything look light. It was also the full moon. It felt like day time... it looked really pretty. "What a perfect night!", Childe thought, while walking down the same pathway as he did in the morning. He had the same bag in his hand, which had the same clanging bottles in it. Such Déjà vu.
3rd person POV of Zhongli
Zhongli was sitting near his work table, with his reading glasses on. Everything on and around the table was messy. Papers spread out in many angles, a pile of pens stacked up and an empty coffee cup hanging off the edge of the table. That's some mess right there. A little surprising for someone like Zhongli. Mentioning him, he looked completely exhausted. His hair was tied in a ponytail, and also, he was leaning his head onto his hand, trying not to fall asleep. Just about when his head was close upon falling, the door bell rang. Zhongli freaked out and instantly straightened up. "Who could possibly... come here at this hour?". Zhongli wobbly stood up, fixed his hair, and went to the door. Because of the exhaustion, he forgot to even check trough the peephole. Opened the door... "ah... it's him... wait- Childe?!" Zhongli was so freaked, he even stuttered for a second.
"Hey there~"Childe said, most definitely with a smirk, and very confidently. He's always ready.
"U-uhm, how can I... help you?" Fake smiled Zhongli, trying to keep his cool. He was a little irritated that Childe came at such a time. It's a busy evening, after all.
Childe laughed. "May I come in?" He raised the bag in front of Zhongli's eyes. Just when Zhongli was about to disagree, Childe also raised up his driver's license.
"Is that?!- Ugh, that bastard!" ."Come in 💢." Now, Zhongli was seriously pissed and confused, considering the exhaustion too. The ginger started following Zhongli, and without asking, sat on the sofa, while the other sat on a chair across the table."You look quite tired today, something wrong?" Said Childe while putting the bag on the table and slowly pushing the license towards Zhongli on it.
Zhongli took the license and ignored him, once again, trying his best not to fall asleep. But because Childe was still patiently waiting for an answer, he spoke up.
"It's nothing. What business do you have here?" He suspiciously asked.
"Oh, not even a 'thank you' ?" Childe asked, trying to act dumb."Ah, now I get it... he didn't come here to give back the license only..."
"Look, I'm really not in the mood right now-" As Zhongli said that, he was cut off by Childe, who stood up, walked up to him, and raised his chin up, staring deeply into his eyes.
"You know, you're quite a naughty boy, for ruining my plans yesterday..."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
