Groaning I opened my eyes and saw that I was laying down. Trying to move I felt myself being held by something warm.
Mumbling under my breath while still in a sleepy like state I snuzzled into it.
Only to freeze after hearing a chuckle. I looked up seeing Rengoku grinning down at me.
Blinking away the sleep from my eyes I saw that he was holding me to his chest.
Me: NANI?!
Blushing I stood up on shaky legs and played with my fingers. Rengoku chuckled again and patted my head.
I looked up at him with stars in my eyes at the action.
Me: "thinking" OH MY GOD RENGOKU PATTED MY HEAD! "blushes and looks away mumbling"

Seeing my reaction he chuckled again. Hearing a groan of pain I turned and saw Tanjiro slowly waking up.
Running towards him I stopped him from sitting up. He looked at me confused before I looked at him with a worried and motherly face.
Me: Don't move Tanjiro your wound will get worse
Rengoku: She's right Kamado focus on your breathing! Find the bleed and stop it! Focus!
I went to speak before a violent and bloodlust aura filled the air. Looking at Rengoku I saw that he felt it too.
Feeling it getting closer I snapped my head towards the left after hearing a thud.
I turned and saw a figure in a dust cloud.
Me: Akaza " I thought"
I took a deep breath and placed my hand on my blade reading for his attack.
Before he suddenly charged and was about to hit Tanjiro before-

Rengoku's blade sliced Akaza's hand as said demon back flipped away.
His wound healed within seconds. I grabbed my blade tighter and got in a battle stance in front of Tanjiro.
Akaza: "licks hands" nice blade
Rengoku: Attacking a wounded person why would you do such a thing?!
Akaza: I want to talk to you someone weak like him would get in the way "grins" the mere sight of weak people makes my skin crawl
Rengoku: I've never seen you before but I already hate you
Watching as they talked I saw Inosuke and Tanjiro go to stand and help in the fight.
Without looking at him I held my hand out while shaking my head.
Me: don't "looks at Tanjiro" focus on your breathing if not your wound will open and you'll bleed out "to Inosuke" this is Rengoku's fight but I will fight along side him.
As soon as the words left my mouth, I unsheathed my blade.
Turning around just in time to see that Rengoku and Akaza's conversation ended and-
