Chapter 3: Meeting Sabito and Makomo

I sighed while Tanjiro kept swinging his blade. Looking up at the sky I took a deep breath.

It's been 2 weeks since Urokodaki left and since I arrived here. I still do not know how I got here and what caused it. 

Myself and Tanjiro have never stopped training. I was currently leaning against a tree as Tanjiro trained a few feet away.

Shaking my head I closed my eyes and sighed as I tried to relax. 

That was until Tanjiro let out a yell causing me to snap open my eyes. Just in time to see him banging his head against the boulder.

Shaking my head again I slowly stood up and went to help as he shouted out.

Tanjiro: I "hits head" can't "hits head" do "hits head" this!

???: SHUT UP!

I jumped hearing a deep male voice shouted and I looked up seeing "Sabito?!" I thought as he stared at us threw his mask. 

Within a blink of an eye he jumped down and dropped kicked Tanjiro.

Said male fell to the ground. Sabito charged at Tanjiro while yelling-

Sabito: do you not remember what master Urokodaki taught you his lessons should be engraved into your skull!

With that he knocked Tanjiro out and I let a giggle slip out at the scene before me. 

Sabito turned his attention on me with a tilt of his head and disappeared. 

Snapping into action I moved to the side before he reappeared and tried to hit me.

Letting out a grunt I back flipped twice to avoid his wooden sword. 

Jumping back I grabbed my sword and our blades clashed. Grunting I pushed him back and held my stance.

Sabito: I must say for someone who is not from this world you fight well

Me: "Shocked" how did you know?

He chuckled and sheathed his blade as I walked towards Tanjiro gently lifting him up.

I then proceeded to lay him on his back and checked his breathing as Sabito spoke.

Sabito: when your dead and cannot rest you learn things

I frowned at his comment but nodded before I stood up while sheathing my blade. 

Standing up I dusted myself down before looking at him as Makomo approached us .

Me: I'm Zoe its nice to meet you both!

And so my true training began

Timeskip

During my time with Sabito and Makomo I have improved greatly. I even created my own breathing style. 

I have also noticed a change in my appearance as of late.

My blonde hair was longer as it just passed my but and my senses have improved greatly.

Anyway me and Tanjiro stood in front of Sabito and Makomo.

Sabito: "to Tanjiro" after six months you finally have the look of a man "draws real blade" I hope your ready both of you

As both men charged at each other I dodged his blade and took a deep breath.

Before I yelled and slammed my blade against the boulder. 

The blade sliced it into two, stepping back I panted. Turning I looked at both ghosts as they smiled at us before disappearing.

Panting I kneeled down trying to catch my breath while tears filled my eyes.

Their peaceful looks still fresh in my mind. 

Hearing footsteps I turned seeing Urokodaki standing there. Taking a deep breath I looked as he said.

Urokodaki: Tanjiro, Zoe your ready for final selection........

Time for a Taisho secret!

Sabito and Makomo were shocked to discover someone from another world. But we immediately became best friends with me.
