The Covenant

Chapter 01

Three males stood at the edge of the cliff looking down at a party while they waited for the fourth member of their covenant.

"What's up fellas", Reid's voice surrounded the air around them. Tyler turned to Reid,
"Where were you? I stopped by to give you a lift".

"Got into a fight with Taylor", he shrugged looking down at the party below.
"What'd you do this time?", Tyler said as Reid scoffed,
"Why is it always me to be blamed", he said as Pogue raised an eyebrow,
"It always is", he stated.

"How's the party?", Reid ignored Pogue as he kept his eyes on the party.
"Don't know just got here", Pogue spoke up but they had lied since they waited half an hour.

"Well boys, let's drop in", Reid said as his eyes changed to the color of midnight black before jumping off the cliff, followed by Tyler who fell backwards
"Shit Yeah", he exclaimed.

"Tyler", Caleb shouted upset that they are using.

"Come on Caleb", Pogue says smirking looking over the cliff, " it's not like it's gonna kill us, yet", he said before jumping off as well.

Caleb sighed, " Taylor will give us an earful", he muttered with a scowl, eyes turning pitch black before jumping off.

Taylor stood beside Kate and her new roommate Sarah. She had been upset with Reid, so she left to Kate's dorm and got dressed their.
She dressed in combat boots, combat camouflage pants, a black fitted tank top with Reid's sweatshirt. Despite being mad at him, his shirts were always comfortable. She wore a beanie, some loose strands were covering half of her face,
"So give me the scoop, who's here", Sarah asked Kate as she laughed.
"Okay, first thing you have to know is that Aaron Abbot is a prick. Treats girls like dirt", Kate explained as Taylor nodded with a disgusting look.

"Taylor here has knocked him out multiple times, got arrested as well. She's a troublemaker like her boyfriend", Kate smiled at Sarah who looked to Taylor shocked, "wow", she commented.

"Who's that?", Sarah asked as Taylor looked to where she pointed, " the new guy. Don't know much about him, but I intend to find out", Kate smiled.
Taylor looked at Kate,
"Seriously Kate, you have Pogue", she said as Kate giggled,
"Hey a girl can look", she smiled.

"Yo Caleb", Taylor looked to the far side smiling at her boys coming through.

"Oh, by the way, be careful with how you treat them. Taylor is very protective of them and they're protective of her. Trust me. Don't get on their bad side", she heard Kate tell Sarah who gave a small nod.

Kate squealed excitedly,
"They're coming and before you try to walk off Taylor", she gave her a pointed look, "talk to Reid", she said as Taylor huffed.

Caleb approached them, giving Taylor his famous bear hugs, "hey Tay, hey Kate", he greeted as Taylor pulled away with a soft look, "how's my boys", she said as Pogue rushed forward hugging her as did Tyler.

"I may have scolded Reid", Pogue smirked as Taylor laughed smacking his abdomen.

Taylor looked to Reid who had his eyes trained on her. She could see the guilt in his eyes and she hated seeing that.
She walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him as he sighed hiding his face in her neck,
"I'm sorry", he mumbled as she pulled away looking up at him, "it's okay. I shouldn't have argued with you about missing class", she spoke but he shook his head placing his forehead on hers,
"You have every right to yell at me. Your only looking out for me", he said as he kissed her lips.
