Chapter 10

Taylor had fallen asleep near Pogue's bed as Reid and Tyler left to get a change of clothes for her.
"Tay...Tay", she groggily opened her eyes to see who called out her name.
She smiled seeing Pogue stare at her with a soft look. She sniffled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. He chuckled at her, "hey, I'm okay, I can feel myself getting stronger", he said as she pulled away,
"I missed you". She says as he squeezes her hand tightly.

Pogue sat up,
"How's the dance go?", he asked to which Taylor shrugged,
"We didn't stay that long. I wasn't feeling it and wanted to see you", she sat to where she faced him.
Pogue could see something was bothering her. He pulled her hand getting her attention,
"What's wrong Tay?", he asked seeing her look at him before she smiled and placed his hand on her stomach, he looked confused
"How do you feel about being an uncle?", she tells him softly as his eyes grew wide, " are you serious? Don't play with me".

Taylor smiled as he hugged her tightly, "I'm gonna be an uncle", he pulled away and Taylor laughed at him.

"Thought we were gonna tell everybody together", they looked to see Reid walking in with a smirk.
Taylor sheepishly smiled, "I couldn't keep it from Pogue", she said as Reid leaned down and kissed her forehead. He handed her a bag,
"Go change babe, you look uncomfortable in that dress", he retorted as she kissed him.
Tyler and Reid greeted Pogue with a bro hug,
"Glad your okay man", Tyler says as Reid messes with Pogue's IV, earning a slap from Tyler. They laughed until Pogue looked at Reid,
"So, your gonna be a dad", he spoke up as Reid smiled

"Can you believe it?" He said and slowly pulled out a small black box.
Tyler and Pogue stared wide eyed in shock,
"Really", they chorused.

"I wanted to ask her at the dance but with everything going on it didn't feel right", he said as they all smirked at him noticing Taylor stand behind him with a smile.
"So when is the right time?", they turned seeing Taylor leaning up against the doorframe. Reid was nervous as the boys chuckled at his expression. She smiled walking up to Reid who stared at her,
"I...I", he stuttered as she laughed kissing his cheek.
"You know I'd say yes", she mumbled as he pulled her against him,
"Then will you?", she looked into his eyes before slamming her lips on his.
She pulled away as he placed his forehead on hers,
"Will you marry me?", he whispered as she smiled,
"Yes", she whispered and watched as he opened the box. The ring was breathtaking. He took it out and placed it on her ring finger before kissing her deeply.

Tyler and Pogue had cheered for them,
"Now we just got to wait on Caleb", Tyler says as they looked at each other. Reid smiled kissing Taylor as she hummed in content.
