Chapter 09

Taylor sat in the home of the Danvers, Reid sat beside her gently rubbing her shoulder as the other stayed on her stomach. Calebs mother was upset that an outside like Sarah knew about them.
"Caleb, you cannot do this alone", Caleb's mom tells him as she walks up to him, "we have to go to the others", she said but Caleb sighed.
"We can't do that. He'll kill us all, including you. Pogue was the final warning," Caleb tells his mom who looked dow , "then we have to go to your father".

"No!"

Taylor sighed seeing the distraught look on his face
" I know what you're thinking, Mother, and you know what'll happen", he said as his mother caressed his cheek, "but he loves you".

Caleb stared his mother in the eyes, "well, then, he'll die with that secret", he says pulling his mother's hands from his face.

"Where's Sarah?", Taylor spoke up as Caleb's mother sighed, "upstairs changing. You should never have involved her", she said side glancing him.
Taylor smiled at Reid who pulled her body against his so that she leaned against him.
Taylor looked at Caleb's mother, " he knows that Ms.Danvers. But he's using her against him. All of us", Taylor spoke up as Tyler looked away. They all knew that's what Chase was doing.

Caleb looked at them, " I want you to take Sarah to the dance. I'll meet you there. I don't think he'll try anything in the open", he tells them.
Reid stood up,
"Would you just let us help you. You know we've got your back", he says as Caleb looks at him.
"I know you do. But please, just once, do what I ask", he said. The boys looked at each other as Taylor stood up standing in between them,
"Just this once Caleb. It's hard to keep Reid on a leash", she joked as they chuckled at her. Reid pulled her into him as he kissed her. She hummed laying her head on his chest.

"You look beautiful my dear", Caleb's mom spoke up seeing Taylor walk down the stairs. Taylor smirked as Sarah walked up to her, " you look hot", she commented as Sarah blushed with a smile, " your way hotter", Sarah retorted looking to Taylor who was in a black strapless dress, no heals.
"Your not wearing heals", Sarah says as Taylor playfully glared at Reid who had a smirk on his face,
" Reid doesn't want me in heals", she said as Sarah laughed.

Sarah looked at the boys who all of a sudden changed demeanor. They were sulking at what Caleb asked of them. Reid wrapped an arm around her lower back an guided her outside.
Tyler looked at them, " he shouldn't do this alone", he said.

Taylor gave his shoulder a pat, " I know, but he has to", she retorted as they got to Tyler's car. She looked to see Caleb talking with Sarah as she got in the car with Reid's help.
"Well, as soon as we get there, I want a snack", she tells Reid who smirks,
"What kind of snack?", he wiggled his eyebrows as she smacked him upside the head.
"It was a joke", he whined as Tyler laughed at him.
Sarah got in the car and Caleb closed the door.
"I'll be fine right?", she asked Taylor who gave her a nod.

Tyler pulled up in the parking area, Reid helped Taylor out as Tyler helped Sarah. She smiled at Reid who wrapped an arm around her. They walked through the building and out the doors where they could see the dance.
The bell rolled above them as they walked down a small flight of stairs. Taylor squeezed Reid's arm as they walked across the path of grass. They stopped at the entrance and Reid's phone ran, " No" he said holding onto Taylor as Caleb talking with him.

"Yeah, she's fine, hang on", Reid said looking where Sarah was, only she wasn't there.
"She was just here", Tyler said as they looked around. Reid looked at the phone, " Caleb. Caleb", he kept calling then looked at Tyler and Taylor,
"Somethings happened", he said.

Taylor shook her head, " I really wish Pogue was here", she said as Reid kissed her forehead.
"Caleb's got this", he assured her as they went to search for Sarah.
Taylor had looked everywhere, she went back outside seeing Tyler as Reid came out as well,
"Did you find her?", he asked.

"No", they chorused.

Reid looked at his watch before looking up at them, " it's almost past eleven", he said as Tyler looked up to the sky.

"Happy birthday Caleb", Taylor says as they looked at her. She was worried for everyone.
"Tay, they'll be okay", Reid said placing his hand on her stomach rubbing it gently.
She looked up at him giving a soft look, "can we just visit Pogue", she says as they looked at her
"I don't want to be here any longer", she said as they agreed and led her back out to Tyler's hummer.
