Chapter 06

Taylor grumpily followed after Reid who had woken her up early this morning just to watch them practice. She wasn't feeling well, her stomach has been churning all morning. She walked off away from Reid an sat against the wall leaning her head back with a sigh.

"What'd you do this time?" Pogue questioned seeing Taylor off on the side. Reid looked at them,
" I woke her up early, it wasn't a big deal", he said as Caleb shook his head,
"She's gonna bust your balls", he says to which Reid looked over at Taylor. He sighed softly before waking over to her with guilt all over his face.
"Hey", he softly says as she looks over at him
"Hey babe", she says humming softly as he leaned his head in her neck," you can go back to the dorm if you want. I'm sorry I woke you up early", he says kissing her cheek.
She sighed leaning her forehead on his chest, "no it's okay. I'm just not feeling well. I'm okay, I want to watch", she said as he kissed her.
"You sure?", he asked feeling her forehead. It was slightly warm and he frowned at her.
"I'm sure babe", she mumbled, " besides, who wouldn't want to watch hot guys in speedos",  she smirked as he laughed.
" you only watch me", he retorted as he kissed her on the lips walking away but not before smacking his ass.
"Damn straight", she called out before sitting down.

Taylor watched as Pogue swam to the finish,  " yeah that's right", she shouted seeing Chase walk up to Caleb. She walked up to them standing beside Reid.

"He is really good", Chase commented.

"He's the best", Caleb retorted as Taylor smacked his shoulder, " you damn right he is", she says as he laughed.
" I hear you swim a mean freestyle", Chase says to Caleb who shrugged, " that's what they tell me", he says nonchalantly.
Chase smirked, " let's see what you got", he said as Caleb gave a nod.
Taylor looked at Pogue with a frown, " is it just me or did he get more balls for a new kid", she said as he shook his head.

Taylor watched closely as they jumped in the water and swam. Chase was more different. She could feel something was off with him.
"Let's go Caleb", she shouted.

"Push off! Let's go!", Pogue clapped as Tyler and Reid watched with anticipation. Taylor looked worried at how fast Caleb was going. She gasped as he swam right into the pool wall, knocking himself unconscious.
"Caleb", Taylor called out as Pogue, Tyler and Reid lifted him out. She rushed to Reid's side, " is he alright?", she asked as Reid pulled her into his side. They could see him slowly open his eyes,
"You okay man?", Pogue asked as they watched him. Tyler smirked which earned him a smack upside the head by Taylor who frowned at him, " it's not funny", she said.

"There you are"

"Had us going there for a second. Whacked your head pretty good", Tyler said as Caleb groaned, "lucky for you, we was there to get you out... before you sucked up the pool" he said as Taylor helped him sit up.

"He also whipped your ass", she commented as he stood up staggering.
"Help him out", she told the boys who helped him get to the boys locker room.

Taylor constantly kept asking Caleb if he was alright. He brushed her off like he was fine but she could see he wasn't. Something happened in that pool between him and Chase and it very much had him scared.
They got to class as Taylor sat beside Reid who yet again stared at Caleb with worry.
"He's fine", she looked at Reid who spoke up with a frown.
"I know Reid, but something has him spooked and I'm just worried about him", she softly says. She knew it bothered Reid when she worried about the boys but she had a right to be. He was her best friend. They all were. Reid had laid his head down on the desk grumpily closing his eyes.
Taylor sighed before leaning forehead and kissing his head, " I love you", she mumbled and frowned as he didn't move.
She looked away sadly before looking at the professor.
"I love you to", she heard looking at Reid who still had his head down.
