I don't think calling an idol pretty, handsome, sexy or hot is sexualizing him/her. Like complimenting their body and looks isn't wrong...right?
Just when some fans go crazy over their bodies, start talking about their private areas (like their body proportions), say certain things like 'tHe tHinGs i'D dO to yOu', etc. that's sexualizing them and I found it disgusting.
I think when fans ask their idols to show their abs is a bit too much if they haven't given you a preview that they'll be showing their body :/ It might seem quite fun in the moment but who knows how would they react or take it 😟 So these kind of comments need to stop. Sometimes the idol isn't comfortable with showing their skin and if they don't want to, we shouldn't force them, either their company.
This is kinda off topic but I find it cringe when international fans use terms like oppa, unnie, hyung, noona, chingu, jinjja, etc. They just sound like they're making fun of the language, which are just normal words used by koreans and not just by your idols.
