Hana's POV:
I stepped into the school gates. I would be in the high school second year. This is the first time I actually went to school; I was home-schooled for all the past years. However, and quite surprisingly, I wasn't nervous. I mean, everything will be fine... right? What could possibly go wrong? I'm prepared, right? It's my first day of school anyways. At least the students might respect me, since it's my first day and all. As I walked through the hallways, I noticed how excited everyone was. After finding my class, I fixed my skirt and walked in. As soon as I opened the door, the whole class stopped what they were doing. They all turned their attention to me. Whispers went across the room, but I ignored it and walked to an empty seat at the back of the class, next to the window. I slipped my bag off of my shoulder and onto the back of my chair. I sat down and looked out the window. I saw a fountain and two kids - one with peach-colored hair and a scar that ran from his ear to his mouth. Overall, he looked adorable. He had a gentle smile plastered over his face as he watched the other kid - the girl with black hair that went down to her shoulder - giggle softly as she hugged a grown man who I knew as the school janitor. The young girl herself had her own sense of adorable. Her eyes were soft; a deep cyan color that looked quite beautiful in their own way. The uniform made her, and the boy, look neater and more respectable. The boy seemed to notice me, and waved. I waved back. He looked young. He could possibly be in middle school. I heard a sweet voice that snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked in front of me. It was a boy with short, yellow hair with orange just at the bottom. He had soft, brown-ish eyes that faded into a unique gold color. I admired their color before he spoke up.
"Hey! My name is Zenitsu Agatsuma. What's yours?" He asked.
"Me? My name is Hana Ito. But please, just call me Hana. Nice to meet you!" I introduced myself.
"Oh! If so, please call me Zenitsu. Hey, I was wondering... why not hang out after school today? Just to get to know each other better...?" The yellow-haired boy waited for my response.
"Oh! Actually, I would love that, but... I'm kind of busy after school. Like... everyday. I definitely can't come after school. I apologize for that." I spoke truthfully. "But is there a way we can talk in school? You know, without getting into trouble or something."
"Uh, yeah. We have recess after third lesson. We can just talk then." He sighed.
"That's great!" I clapped my hands softly. He slightly smiled, before we heard someone call him. I looked to see a boy with with pretty tanned skin and black hair, with some burgundy tips, combed back. He had a noticeable scar on his forehead that created a special shape. He had on a pair of hanafuda earrings, with a specific shape on them, which I found quite interesting. A boy came out from behind him. He had the facial features of a girl, although his body said otherwise. His shirt was unbuttoned completely and he was carrying a bento box. He had black hair with blue tips and reached until his shoulder. His facial features could be considered pretty, if he was a girl perhaps. But that didn't lessen from his beauty that shined just through the big smile that seemed like it was never removed.
"Zenitsu! Stop flirting with girls all the time!" The boy shouted to him. The said boy turned around at the call of his name.
"But I wasn't!" He protested.
"I'm sorry for that. I'm Tanjiro Kamado. I sincerely apologize for my friend's behavior." The boy I now knew as Tanjiro said politely.
I waved my hands in front of my face. "No no, I don't really know what you're talking about. He didn't do anything! Oh, and by the way, my name is Hana. Nice to meet you, Kamado-chan."
"No, please, just Tanjiro is fine!" He said, also politely. Then, he pointed to the boy behind hin, who was now jumping up and down. "And this is Inosuke-"
