CHAPTER 6 | Osculate

We just arrived in town. It didn't take long for us to find Ateez since we saw Honngjoong standing outside of his car, waiting for us to pass by. I drive up to him then roll down my window to talk to him.

"Good morning Hongjoong." I greeted him. He smiles at me then blends down.

"Good morning Chan. You guys can take the lead and we will follow." He said then opens his car door to hop in. I drive forward to start the convoy. Soon enough we reach the hotel Ateez was talking about. We Park the cars and leave the key with the employees. They would be the ones who would take care of them while we're gone. Lee Know distributes the passports and tickets and we walk through a shortcut to arrive at the airport.

"They're giving us weird looks already." Lee know whispers to me. I already expected Ateez to react this way. They too were close to Felix and treat him like family. But sadly, what happened must stay within our group. Well at least with me and Hyunjin. We didn't need to wait like other passengers because we are riding a private plane. Flight attendants assist us with our luggage after we pass through security. Then they help us go to our assigned seats.

"This is one trip flight people so get comfortable." San talks to everyone as they take their seats. I left the window seat empty like what I've been doing since he's been gone. I lay my back down and tried to relax. But my mind keeps tracing back to him. Unknowingly I drifted to sleep and was woken up by one of the flight attendants. We exited the plane and entered a bus that would take us to the resort. While being ferried, Yeosang decides to sit next to me.

"Good to see you again Chan," he says in a low voice, I gently smile at him.

"Is Felix, okay? I noticed that he isn't with us." He asks, I expected this but not this early into the trip.

"Yeah, he isn't feeling okay so he didn't join us for this trip." I lied; I hope he bites on it. He grew silent and started talking to the other members. A few minutes later we arrive at the resort. The employees help us with our luggage, they pile them up on a cart and push them off to the rooms.

"Let's have lunch together?" Hongjoong asks the group and they all agreed.

"Chan! where is Felix?" Wooyoung says out of the blue as we were walking to one of the restos. All the other members look at me. Waiting for my response.

"He is sick." Yeosang response for me. They had mixed expressions on their faces some of them look like they don't believe it but the others seems to believe it. I could see my members all confused about what was said. I honestly felt a bit nervous with all their eyes staring at me. But I know that it would just cause trouble for them to know. As we were seated at the long dining table waiting for the food to arrive. Seonghwa decides to open the topic about the island. Talking about the details of the building that they want to do. As he pointed out the blueprint in his iPad my eyes glazed up for a second. I don't know why but my body had the urge to. And the moment I did, I saw a figure like his, wearing a cardigan with diamond patterns. I suddenly jolted up, which cause everyone to stop what they were doing to look at me. They tried to meet my eyes to see what I was looking at. But as soon as they did, the figure with the diamond cardigan was gone.

"Is there something wrong Chan?" Seonghwa asks in concern. I shake my head lightly and take my seat.

"I think I just saw someone I knew, but maybe it's just the hunger getting to me," I explain, the boys starting giggling and chuckling at the statement.

"The food will be here soon Chan," I.N says from across the table. I smiled at him in response.

Could that be him? is he here? it can't be, right? but what if it is him? what if he comes back? what if he is back for me? Sunshine, please tell me it's you. I want to hold you as tight as I did before. I'll take extra care of you and give you more love. I'll make you feel as if the universe only revolves around you. Since you are the centre of mine.
