"Are you feeling okay?" Itachi asked as we were getting out of the shower. "You seem to be a little spaced out."
"I'm fine," I wrapped myself in the bath robe, grabbing a toothbrush. "I'm just tired, that's all. Work has been piling up these last few days and it's hard to keep up."
"Don't push yourself too hard," he patted my head. "It's almost the weekend, we should do something fun so you can relax, hm?"
"Do what?" I asked with the toothbrush in my mouth, some of the toothpaste going down my chin. He wiped it with his thumb.
"We could go out on a date." I watched as he washed his thumb under the running water. "Of course, we wouldn't be able to be physically affectionate outside. It would be hard, but I'm sure I can manage."
I spat out the toothpaste into the sink. "We only ever went out on one date and you didn't even acknowledge it as one back then," I rinsed my mouth. "What's the sudden interest in dating? Isn't it for people who are trying to see if they want to get into a relationship?"
"We don't have to call it a date then," he took his toothbrush and put some toothpaste on it as well. "But I would like to spend the weekend with you. Ever since you started to work with Shisui, I've been barely able to see you. I have to leave before you get up and you come back late. I've been missing you."
"It's been pretty hectic," I felt the guilt creeping up inside. "I hope things will get calmer next week, but Shisui said that he stays this busy majority of the time. It's apparently the reason why his last assistant left."
"Are you two getting along?"
"I guess? We don't really talk much apart from work related things." This wasn't a lie. Shisui wasn't one to talk a lot during intimate things.
"I was very surprised when you invited him over for my birthday," he put his hand around my waist, still holding his toothbrush with the other. "I'm glad you two seem to be doing fine instead of trying to go after each other's throats."
"Yeah." I nodded. Shisui was definitely going after my neck, it was one of his favourite places on my body to kiss, apart from my lips.
"You should go to bed, so you can get some sleep." He kissed my forehead. "I'll be in bed soon."

I looked over to my side just to see Itachi already staring at me, his 3D glasses in his hand. He leaned towards me against the arm rest, our hands touching. He was being very careful up until now not to attract any attention to us. I wasn't sure if it was the thrill of being seen, but just feeling his fingers touch mine made me feel as if it was the first time he ever touched me. His eyes lingered on my mouth for a moment too long and I could feel the blood rush into my cheeks. I turned away just  as he leaned a bit closer.
"I really want to kiss you right now." He whispered, his lips grazing against my ear. He looked around. There weren't many people with us in the cinema, most likely because it was already midnight and it was the last viewing time slot. There was a couple sitting a few rows above us and a bunch of friends sitting at the other side of the row our seats were in. More people were in the seats underneath us. I turned my head to face him again, holding his gaze.

He kissed me slowly, his fingers intertwined with mine. It didn't last long and I could tell he wanted more, but didn't want to push it. I kept looking at him after he got comfortable in his seat again, the glasses back on his nose. He didn't move his hand from the middle armrest and neither did I. The more time I was spending with Shisui, the more I was forgetting about what spending time with Itachi was like. He was always so caring and considerate. So aware of his surroundings, his senses on high alert. He could read the room with ease and adjust himself accordingly. I couldn't help but be reminded of how much I loved him because of who he is as a person. When I moved my pinky finger to hold onto his, I had the pleasure of seeing the faint smile spread across his lips. He looked so very beautiful in the dark room, the lights from the screen illuminating his face.

Just as I was falling in love with him all over again, the cruel reminder tightly wrapped around my neck threw me back into reality. I was doing something so horrible behind his back, while all he wanted was to spend time with me, just to enjoy my company. I moved my arm from the armrest onto my leg. He looked at me, a slightly disappointed look on his face. I didn't want to continue doing anything more that would dig the hole that was between us even bigger and deeper. I felt around the collar with my fingers until I found the buckle and took it off, putting it inside my pocket. I didn't know if I was going to tell him, but I knew that I wasn't going to continue messing around with Shisui anymore.

I struggled a lot with this chapter because I forgot like every single word I know, so I'm keeping it short lmao.
