The smell of green tea was spreading throughout the apartment, but it was concentrated in the kitchen the most. Itachi was sitting on the bar stool, his hand wrapped around a mug. He looked over his shoulder at me when he heard my footsteps, a warm smile on his lips. I sat on top of the kitchen counter, looking down at him. There was no way I could ever meet and get to know every person that exists in the world, but I was sure that the man before me was one of the most understanding beings out there. I was so very lucky to hear his voice every day, when he would tell me good morning, or when he would smile at me with his eyes as he told me he loves me. There was something about him that never stopped pulling me towards him.

"You look beautiful," I reached out my hand, lifting up his head. "I can't take my eyes off you."
"Are you okay?" He furrowed his eyebrows, resting his head against my palm. "You don't normally say such things."
"Exceptions." He stood up, moving his tea out of the way. He put his hands on the sides next to my body, not breaking eye contact.
"You look beautiful yourself," slowly, in a  teasing manner, he kissed me. "You make me want to get back into bed with you."
"There's nothing I'd like more right now," I put my arms around his shoulders, not getting enough of his face. The more I looked at him, the more I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs. Talking to him about what was happening and the way he reacted lifted the weight off of me. "You better make it up to me when I get back from work."
"Tell Shisui not to keep you behind for too long," he kissed me again, but this time it didn't last long. "If you won't be back by eight, I'll drive to pick you up myself."

The hands on the clock moved as they always have, yet somehow the time felt still. All I could hear was the  sound of fingers moving across the keyboard as Shisui worked. Everything I had to do for the day was already done and the only thing left to do was wait for him to finish. I was shifting around in my chair, looking around the room. The clock mockingly ticked away. Stretching my arms above my head, I got up and laid down on my stomach on the sofa.

"I told Itachi," I said into the quiet room. "About you and me." I could tell I piqued his interest.
"Let me guess," pushing away his chair from the desk, he walked towards me. "You cried. He held you close. You cried some more. It got annoying." He was sitting on the edge of the sofa. "He fucked you to shut you up."
"You guessed wrong," I looked away from him, my cheeks reddening from the choice of his words. "He's not like that."
"Right," he nodded, tracing the collar around my neck with his finger. "I don't mind shutting you up, so feel free to be as annoying as you want."
"Don't you have work to do?" I asked, pushing him away. He didn't budge.
"Did you not want my attention? Is that not why you started to talk?"
"Are you not going to ask what Itachi said?"
"I've known him for most of my life," he said, turning me on my back. "I can picture what he would say clearly. He would be supportive of your choices and tell you he cares about your feelings. He wouldn't get angry with you."
"He also said that he will pick me up himself if you keep me here for longer than necessary."
"Will he?" I couldn't quite read the expression on his face. "I might have to lock the door then." He said, kissing me before I could manage to form a reply.

I could hear raindrops beating against the window and the roof out of nowhere, drowning out the unwanted sounds that escaped my lips. He didn't take the collar off me  before, but now it was scattered somewhere on the wooden floor, along with the shirt I was still wearing a minute ago. He was gently biting my neck before he would suck on it, leaving his marks across my skin. His index and middle fingers were keeping my mouth open, his other hand in my hair tilting my head backwards. I held him tight against my body, my nails digging into his back. He didn't seem to dislike it.

The air around us felt heavy, my eyes glazed over with my mind dazed as his fingers moved around across every inch of my body. The anticipation of what was coming was running through my veins as he took his time. It felt almost torturing, the way he did anything else before he finally filled me, leaving me breathless. The pain mixed with the desires overtook my senses and I was no longer able to think clearly. There wasn't a moment where his body wouldn't touch mine as he moved in and out in a repetitive motion, his hand back in my hair, pulling it gently. I could feel the stubble on his chin scraping against my shoulder. There was no escaping his embrace, as if he was everywhere around me. The room was blurry and my eyes too heavy to keep open. He groaned into my ear, the sound filling my head. I could feel the drool slowly running down my chin. It happened fast, when he turned me back on my stomach, my legs on each side of him. He was looking at me through his eyelashes, his arms next to my head as he towered over me. He kissed me again, his tongue playing with mine.

He didn't stop when we heard the loud banging on the door.
