Chapter 5 - almost caught 🏃🏃🏃

I sat on Neil's bed as I watched Neil and Todd together study on Todd's.

I felt really left out and jealous. They weren't paying attention to me at all. 😣

I sighed and looked down at the floor. I kept thinking about Mr. Keating being Neil's son. I don't understand why he didn't tell Keating yet because that surely would boost his grades in English class.

My ex-best friend Maria who had been my friend since first year of elementary school was the daughter of our math teacher and it was really unfair because she kept getting good grades because she was her daughter. I called her out on her trickery and she said she was just good at math which she kind of was but she wasn't perfect. I started calling her mean words and I guess we aren't friends anymore. (this really happened btw)

Then Knox and Charlie came in. "Study group?" they said at the same time.

"Uh yeah ok." Todd said and the boys took off to the study group room.

I quickly hurried after them but I stumbled over Cameron who still unconscious on the floor from when Charlie punched him.

"Omg I am so sorry!" I exclaimed. 

Cameron didn't respond. I kicked him to see if he was still alive. "Cameron please wake up I know you're a part of the Dead Poets club but you can't actually be dead and its a bit overdramatic."

The redhead groaned. "Can you help me up?" 

"Of course!" I reached out and helped him up and he thanked me.

"You are too nice Lana." he said.

We walked to study group together. He was actually really nice and offered to carry my books even tho I had none on me. (xD)

It was still really sweet of him but I really wish he had a better haircut. (I know the 50s were different times but it's still ugly.The only one who has a good haircut is Todd and maybe Charlie.) 

We sat down with the other boys and Cameron helped me do math.

"Hey so there is a meeting tonight" Meeks said to me. "It would be cool if you joined us."

Suddenly the door opened. It was a teacher and I quickly hid under the table.

"There are rumors about a girl in the school. DOES ABYONE KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS??!!!!" he sounded very angry.

"Quick under the table!" Charlie shouted at me and I hid under the table.

"We haven't seen her." Miel said. "We are trying to study we don't bothrr with girls."

"IF ANYONE SPOTS A GIRL REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!" and he left.

"Luna are you okay" all the boys asked.

"Uh yeah just a bit shaken." I said. "I'm sorry for bringing you all in trouble."

"You kind of did but that's ok." Cameron said and Charlie hit m again but he didn't pass out this time

Meeks: "so your coming tonight right?"

Me: "Do I have a choice?"

Neil: 'Not really"

Me: I guess I'll be there

The boys cheered even the ones who weren't a part of the dead poets

TIME SKIP

When the boys were brushing their teeth I wandered the halls of welton because i was lost.

I saw a shadow in the distance but i couldn't make out who it was. "Hello?"

"Miss Grande."

"Mr Keating?"

"Yes what can I do for you miss Grande."

"Mr Keating do you have any children." i asked and I walked closer so i could see his face now

"I have a classroom full of them"

"No but I mean like did you give birth"

"No I'm not married so I can't. God says that's wrong ok?"

"Ok. Thank you"

so Mr Keating really didn't know about his son Niel.
