Luna POV

IN THE CAVE

"Alright we always start with the centuries book so let's do that." Neil said and he started to read from the centuries book that had poetry in it and stuff.

I sat next to Knox again and we all listened to Neil reading.

Except... I couldn't focus. I kept lookingat Knox. He was shirtless and it was hard to focus on anything else.

"Knox is so hot" I thought but then Neil fell quiet all the boys looked at me. "OMG I SAID THAT OUT LOUD DIDN'T I?? I AM SO SORRY!"

"It's ok Luna. I get that too sometimes." Knox said.

"Y-you do?"

He nodded. "Hey I saw Todd passing you a note in class." Knox said, still nodding.

"Uhh yeah he wrote me poetey."

Knox: "Well I can do it better and I'll let everyone here know. Luna, brown hair and blue eyes, the prettiest girl in town, you should be wearing a crown. You're like an angle, a beautiful angle from heaven. On a scale from 1 to 10 you're 11."

I released a breathe I didn't know I was holding. "Knox.."

Todd looked really ANGRY. "I WROTE SOMETING BETTER THAN THAT!" but he whispered it violently because Todd isn't really the type to yell.

A/N: you'd know if you've seen the movie. I saw the movie three times but I'm not allowed to watch the ending. my parents suck.

There was a silence until Meeks and Pits turned on their radio. (It was the Beatles which was kind of like One Direction in that time) We all started dancing in a circle.

After the dance we told ghost stories. I was scared and without realizing I grabbed Niel's hand. He smiled softly at me and I melted.

Me: N-n-niel? I forgive you.

Neil: for what?

Me: Buying me and not telling me about... "Your father." when we met. I whisper.

Neil: Thank you. But... Uhm Luna... You don't know every thing."

Me: "What is it?"

Neil: *starts blushing* uh I'll tell you later

Me: ok

(More secrets? 😱)

The rest of the group looked at us with eyes in the dark like bats.

Kox: Is there something you would like to tell the class?

Niel: uh no

Meeks: Tell us! we're your friends!

Todd: ...

Neil sees the sad look on Todd's face and he sighs deeply. "No I really can't ok? I don't want you all mad at me."

The boys all sigh. Charlie starts playing his trumpet.

After the meeting all the boys except Neil go back to Welton.

A/N: oops I kinda forgot about Cameron again so let's just assume he's in his room crying about Charlie ok?

"Soo... What did you want to tel me?" I ask Neil.

"I feel... Really close to you and... I think I can trust you." Neil is blushing furiously and I can hear his heartbeat even though he's standing on the other side of the cave.

"Oh yeah I'm very trustworthy. I didn't even consider telling Mr. Keating you're his son. I would never do such a thing." I said.

"Thank you Luna. That is such sweet of you. See... I think I can tell you. You're a good friend to me, and..."

"...And?" Did Neil see me as just a friend??? :(

Neil didn't respond. He was shaking out of fear. "Uhm"

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"I'm gay."

CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry if you wanted Neil to end up with Luna but there are so many boys and she has to pick one and it would be easier if Neil was gay because my mom thinks he is.
