Damian was staring up at the sealing playing a game of chess with himself in his mind. Testing out different strategies. A sob broke through his occupied thoughts and he looked down at the boy sleeping on his bare chest. Damian brushed his fingers through Jon's hair which seemed to calm the sleeping teen somewhat. Jon had been crying in his sleep for the last week. Ever since ha and Damian had left the Kents farm after the confrontation with Clark. They had returned to the manor and Jon had been accepted into the family without hesitation. He had his own room but barely used it. Instead he spent most nights and Days in Damians bed, crying or doing nothing. In the beginning he had tried to smile at Damian but he had gotten more depressed the more days that passed. Clark had tried contacting them but Jon didn't want to talk to him. Damian couldn't really blame him. He knew Clark was just trying to protect Jon but he had still hurt him. Jon released another sob and Damian scooted down holding Jon closer to him. He wanted to be happy. He had Jon in his arms but he was just sad for his boyfriend. His mother hadn't even tried contacting him which Damian found odd. Lois was a very opinionated person. He had a hard time believing she had nothing to say about the situation. That's why he had decided that before Jon woke up that morning, get dressed and drive over to the Daily planet in Metropolis to have a talk to his boyfriends mother.

Damian parked his car outside the Daily planet and walked to the reception where a woman sat filing her nails and she was not paying much attention.

"Hello I'm here to see Lois Lane.'' The woman didn't let her eyes off her nails.

"Do you have an appointment?"

"I don't think that will be necessary." The woman rolled her eyes and turned to probably say something snappy but dropped her jaw when she saw who she was talking too.

"M...Mr Wayne!" Damian didn't say anything, just stared at the woman. She straightened herself up. " So what can I do for you?" Damian raised a brow.

"Miss Lane." The woman looked embarrassed.

"Yes, right. She is on the seventh floor, do you need me to show y..."

"I think I can manage." Damian said in a cold tone and walked past the woman who was devastated over her loss of giving a good impression on the young bachelor. Well to her knowledge.

Damian opted for the stairs so as to avoid too many watching eyes. The young vigilante climbed the stairs with ease, not even breaking a sweat. He arrived at the seventh level and opened the door to the offices. He received a few surprised looks as he walked through the cubicles. Soon he saw the brown hair of the woman he was seeking; she was glued to her screen. Damian walked up and stopped at her cubicle. She glanced enough to see someone was standing behind her but not who.

"Really Cat, I do not have the time for you right now. I have to finish this story."

"Not Cat." Lois tensed at the familiar voice. She turned in her swivel chair and looked wide eyed at the young Wayne.

"Damian, why are... why are you here?" Damian kept his normal blank face.

"Maybe we should take this somewhere a little more private." Lois looked around, seeing all eyes in the office were on them. She composed herself.

"Of Course, follow me Mr Wayne." Damian gave a discrete scowl. He really didn't like to be called by his last name. It made him feel like his father. He followed Lois into a private office that seemed to be unoccupied, she closed the door after Damian and pulled down the blinds. She stiffened and avoided the piercing green eyes of the young man.

"How is he?" Her voice was weak and on the brink of braking. Damian crossed his arms.

"Depressed and hurt." Lois turned around wiping tears out of the corner of her eyes. Damian narrowed his eyes. He had been so mad at her, he still was but somehow felt a little sorry for her. "What is going on Lois, Jon says you didn't say anything when he told you about us, and you haven't even tried to contact him since we left." Lois looked down in the ground and a couple of silent tears rolled down her cheeks.
