Yeonjun grabbed Soobin's wrist and yanked him closer the the older. He wrapped his arm around him. Soobin smiled and clung onto him in return. "So where should we start our date off?" The older said. Soobin put his finger on his chin and tapped it as he thought. "Let's get some food and then we can go watch a movie!"Yeonjun laughed, "But what movies are even being shown right now?". The younger shrugged, "I guess we'll see when we get there." They both nodded and Yeonjun brought his hand down to intertwine fingers with Soobin. As they made their way to the closest restaurant, Yeonjun pointed out the most random things and then made really cringy- uh I mean funny puns about the items.
Once they arrived, Yeonjun opened the door for Soobin and the younger smiled, "By the way, you're paying, right?" The older sighed before nodding his head and following in. After finding a table and sitting across from each other, the waitress asked what they'd like to drink. She quickly took Soobin's order and then turned to Yeonjun. "And what would you like, sir?" He took a minute to respond, "I'll just take a water." "Only water?" She asked, her voice laced with sugar. He smiled and nodded in response. The waitress wrote it down before smiling at Yeonjun, "I'll have it out soon."
The boy smiled back before he turned to Soobin who seemed a bit upset. "What's wrong?" The younger stared at him for a bit before standing up and sitting down right next to Yeonjun. The older gave him a questioning look but wrapped his arm around Soobin's shoulder. The two chatted a bit before the waitress came back, "Oh I see you moved. You two seem close." Soobin nodded, "We are. We're very close." She gave him an awkward smile, "I see," she put down their drinks and then pulled out her little notebook to write down their orders. She looked at Yeonjun, "So, what are you eating today?"
Soobin glared at her, "Wouldn't it be easier to ask me since I'm on the outside?" She sighed before showing him a condescending smile, "The order sequence really doesn't matter but I'll take yours since it seems to matter so much to you." Soobin returned the fake smile, "I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from. I want tteokbokki." She wrote it down before turning back to Yeonjun, "And you, sir?"
"I want the Gimbap. Also, could I get a small dish of kimchi?" He replied. She gave him a cheeky smile, "Of course!" She winked at him and wrote it down before turning away. After she left Soobin crossed his arms, "I don't like her." Yeonjun turned to face him, "Why?" The younger looked at him as if he had asked a really dumb question, which he had. "I don't know, maybe cause she was extremely rude."
Yeonjun thought for a moment, "I don't think she was that mean. She seemed kind of nice actually." Soobin rolled his eyes, "That's cause she was flirting with you, luv." The older gasped, "Oh my god! Are you getting possessive?" He laughed to himself and the younger boy turned away. "Whatever," he said.
After a while of them talking and bickering, in a loving way of course, the waitress came back. She sort of dropped Soobin's place in front of him but politely slid Yeonjun's over to him. Immediately picking up on this, Soobin put one of his legs over the other boy's and laid his head on his boyfriend's shoulder all while staring at her. "You know, you shouldn't drop plates down in front of people. What if I tell your boss?" She closed her eyes and sighed before giving him a very haughty smile, "I'll be more careful in the future. Is there anything else you boys want?"
Soobin shook his head before looking up at Yeonjun who seemed to be more focused on their legs. He bumped the older, "What about you, Babe? Is there anything you want?" Yeonjun took a few seconds before responding, "Uh, no?" Soobin turned back to the girl, "We're fine," he said and gave her a smug smile. She rolled her eyes before turning around and walking to another table. The younger sighed before turning to Yeonjun who was now rubbing Soobin's thigh softly as he stared at their legs overlapping. The boy who was angry just a few moments ago was now blushing. He quickly pulled his leg away and turned to eat. Yeonjun laughed, "Angry Soobin is pretty hot," he said before putting a piece of food in his mouth. "Shut it," the other boy responded.
After they finished up and left, their next destination was a movie theater. Yeonjun looked up the nearest one and it was actually a bit away. Soobin scolded him for not checking that sooner but they still decided it wouldn't be too much of a bother to walk. When they arrived, it was pretty empty luckily but that made the boys a bit nervous about what kinds of movies were being shown.
Just as they suspected, the only shows being shown were low rated or reruns. Soobin told the older boy to just buy tickets for the cheapest. So, they ended up with an action romance with really bad reviews. As they walked to the theater for seats, Yeonjun kept apologizing even though the younger said it wasn't a big deal.
The inside of where they were showing the movie, there were only 3 other people. The boys chose to sit at the back because the older promised it would be the best seat. Once seated, yeonjun left to get popcorn for both of them. Almost as soon as he got back, the movie started. It started with an explosion, which caught their attention. They watched for about 10 minutes before one of them got bored.
"Hey," he whispered, "this movie kinda sucks." The younger rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. "It just started. Movies are usually boring in the beginning. Give it time." Another five minutes go by before he's back at it again. "The plot doesn't even make sense. We have better movies at home. Let's have a home movie date." Soobin clenched his teeth,"You bought the tickets. We're watching the movie."
Hearing Soobin getting agitated made him shush but didn't kill his boredom. He watched the movie for a bit and played with the arm rest. He accidentally pressed a little button on the bottom and the arm rest flung up, getting rid of the barrier between them. "Whoa, I didn't know it could do that!" he whisper-shouted. Soobin shook his head and shushed him before snuggling into the older boy's side. This seemed to tame the older boy a for a bit as he played with Soobin's hair but as time went on the feeling came back.
'God, I should've checked what was out. He's probably so bored. I'm honestly a shitty boyfriend.' The older boy looked around the room as he pondered over his decisions. After some time went by, the older felt a head plop on his shoulder. He looked over to see his boyfriend sleeping with his mouth slightly open. It took everything in him to not laugh. Unfortunately, this meant that Yeonjun would have to stay awake. It'd be really bothersome if they were still sleeping when the movie ended. The older adjusted a bit to be more comfortable before laying his head on top of his boyfriend's. "This is the life," he said before grabbing some popcorn and putting it in his mouth.About an hour later, Soobin woke up and looked up at the older who was grinning at him. The younger raised a brow at him and Yeonjun motioned to his mouth, "You were drooling." The burnette's eyes widened and he wiped his mouth while hitting his boyfriend. "How much longer of the movie is left?" he asked after making sure he didn't have any drool on him. "About 10 minutes," the other responded, "Also I ate all the popcorn cause I thought you'd be out for the rest of the movie."
"Wow, that's really selfish of you."
The older stuttered before responding," It's not my fault you freaking fell asleep."
"I'm just kidding. Chill out, babe."
Yeonjun rolled his eyes before lightly hitting Soobin's head with the popcorn bucket. Soobin turned to him with what seemed to be disgust, "I can't believe you just hit me. You're so toxic. We need to break it off." The older hit him harder," That's not a funny joke, I would cry."
Suddenly, the lights came off and the two realized the movie had ended. They both stood up and stretched a bit before making sure they picked up all their trash. As they left the building and got outside, Yeonjun kept yawning and groaning. "You sound like an old man," Soobin said.
"That's cause I am," the other responded, "I got old man bones." They both laughed before the older was called a drama queen. "So, are we just walking back now?" Asked Soobin. The other nodded, "Yup, this old man needs a nap. To the dorms we go!" He shouted before marching forward.

Im gonna be real honest with you guys. I have been putting off updating or writing in this book because I just can't get in my zone. I brainstormed some ideas to help with my writer's block and lack of motivation. I now have a few ideas to help but I'm just trying them out. I'm really sorry for being so inconsistent. I'm so sorry for any disappointment I may have caused with my procrastination.
P.S. you guys keep me going :)
