As Rayne stood up Kai wondered what they'd do for the day. This isn't like a date. Like at all. So, it should be okay if they just do something stupid, right? Or is it a date? I mean the others are using it as a date. Holy shit, is he on a date right now? "Kai!"

He snapped back to reality and saw the girl laughing, "Damn, you were really thinking there, huh? I called your name a few times. Whatcha pondering about so intensely?" He shook his head, "Nothing, I'd tell you about." She rolled her eyes, "Lame. Anyways, what are our plans for the day?" He stood up and shrugged, "No idea." They both thought for a second before she smacked him lightly, "I got it! Let's go to that climbing place!" He stared at her for a second," That climbing place?"

She nodded, "Yeah! You know that place with like the ball pits and the trampolines and the slides and those net buildings you climb around in! Isn't there one for adults near here?" He nodded, "You mean an indoor playground, dummy, and yes. There is." She jumped up and down, "We gotta go there! Bro, like I've always wanted to go their with a friend!" The word lingered on his mind, 'friend'. Isn't that what they are? Why does it make him a bit sad? He shook his head, too many thoughts to have fun. Kai got out his phone and looked up the directions, "So uh, it's kinda like 60 minutes away by walk," he said sheepishly. "Are you kidding me?" She shouted in response, "Okay okay what if we get like a taxi or something?"

The boy nods and looks through his phone, "Sure. That works I guess. Let me call a taxi." She nods in response and after the call they both wait patiently, talking about random things they've been up to.

Once the Taxi arrives, they both get in and she turns to Kai, "This is all of you, right?" She says with a smirk. He rolls his eyes, "Yeah as if. 50/50 or we turn around right now." She laughs and nods her head, "I guess so. I guess so." The car ride was honestly not that talkative. They both looked out their windows, heads turned away from each other, as Rayne hummed and Kai listened. She was humming a song she'd been obsessed with for a while now, Kai knew all about it. She would talk and talk and talk about anything that she loved, it was like she wanted him to know every little detail of her life. To be honest, that's one of the things he found cute about her.

Wait...

Cute???? Like romantically??? No no no no way. Like in a friendly way. Definitely just platonic, right?

Okay whatever, back to her humming, the song was White Knight by SkyDxddy, a smaller artist she found a bit back. Rayne was actually in line to be a rapper but her voice was also beautiful and the song fit her voice amazingly. So he didn't mind hearing her hum it or whisper the lyrics, it was actually quite nice. It made him feel comfortable enough to not feel like he had to talk and fill the silence. After about 30 minutes they arrived and Rayne clapped excitedly before smacking Kai, "Omg are you ready? This is gonna be so fun." He laughed, "I'll race you in there, ready set go!" He got out of the car and slammed the door before she could get out. "Bro, what the hell?" She shouted out to him before quickly paying for the taxi, practically falling out of the car, and bolting to catch up with the boy. Unfortunately, the cheater won and when she caught up he smirked at her, "Oh my gosh, you're so slow." Panting, she smacked his arm, "Shut up, you cheating ass." He laughed before they both turned to walk into the building.

After paying and getting their wristbands put on, Rayne ran for the foam pit and Kai ran after to jump in. They both laughed as they fell in, "Dude, you could probably bury someone in here," She says and the boy nods in response, "Here let's test it out. Lay down, I'll cover you up." The girl giddily laid down on her back and let her friend cover her in the soft foam cubes. Unfortunately, the gaps were too big and they couldn't correctly bury her. Defeated, they both got out and looked around for the next thing to play with when Kai pointed out a racing obstacle course. "Rayne! Let's do that!" He yelled out while pointing to it. She giggled, "Hell yeah! Let's go!"
