After leaving the playground, Beomgyu had already decided where their date would start.
"So where are-" Taehyun was cut off by the older grabbing his hand and dragging him down the street, "An Arcade!"

Suddenly Beomgyu stopped, causing Taehyun to bump into him, "Ah! Hyung, what are you doing?" The older turned around with a sheepish smile, "I don't know where an arcade is." Taehyun scoffed but ruffled his boyfriend's hair, "Jeez, how do you just forget to look it up?" He pulled out his phone and searched for a nearby arcade. "Ah, I guess there's a small arcade nearby. It doesn't have much but the reviews say it's pretty cheap and it's real close. Do you wanna go there?" The older smiled and nodded his head, "Absolutely!"

Taehyun took his boyfriend's hand and led him to the arcade he read about. Luckily, it was only about a 5 minute walk away. When they arrived Beomgyu ran in ahead of the younger. He ran up to the first game he saw, which was a two player shooting game. "Come one. Let's see who wins!" He shouted to Taehyun who rolled his eyes. "We both know I'm gonna win. I'm kinda way better than everyone," replied the younger. Beomgyu giggled as his boyfriend picked up the other fake gun connected to the game.

The game turned out to actually be a zombie game. The players had to go through a story type sequence and shoot zombies along the way. They worked as a team rather than going against each other so both boys ended up winning. However, it did show the scores at the end. When they showed up on the screen a confident Taehyun put the gun on his shoulder and smirked over at Beomgyu. The older was pouting but when he made eye contact with his boyfriend he felt his heart jump a bit. 'Wow, as much as I hate losing, I also loving seeing this cocky side. Why is my boyfriend so undeniably perfect?' the older thought to himself before giggling and turning away to find another game.

Next up was a dance game in which they'd have to "dance" to a song and step on the correct buttons in time with the music. Now, being idols was gonna make this pretty easy. I mean, they dance for a living. Just in case, they did put it on an easier level. They made sure to start at the same time and exchanged giddy glances with a hint of competitiveness. It was definitely easy but a little harder than they expected so they both lost a few points. Waiting for the final scores felt like an eternity. This time, to Beomgyu's surprise, he lost again! Taehyun laughed at the obvious disappointment on the Older's face. "Get Wrecked," he said. Beomgyu rolled his eyes before marching off, "You suck!" The younger laughed and followed him, " Well, you obviously suck more."

The older whipped around, "Fine, if you're so great, go win me a stuffed animal from a crane game." His boyfriend nodded with a smirk before turning around to find the nearest crane game. There was an aisle near the opening. They stopped in front of all the machines and Taehyun raised a brow, "So, which one?" Beomgyu looked at them all for a brief moment before turning to his boyfriend, "I want the Yoshi plushie in that Mario one." The younger nodded and put a few coins in the machine, "Alright. Let's do this."

"Come on! Just a little more to the left this time. You almost had it!" Gyu yelled in the younger's ear. Taehyun licked his lips before putting in a few more coins in and leaning on the machine. This was like a life or death situation. He only had enough coins for two more tries. Yes, he used most of his coins trying to get this stupid plushie because his pride was at stake. With his boyfriend putting his trust in him and rubbing his back, he had no choice but to win this game. The crane seemed to move as slow as a snail in his adrenaline ridden state. It seemed in perfect placement and when he pressed the button he was VERY confident he'd win this time.

He got it! The crane latched on and started to lift up the plushie before slowly creeping back. It was almost there but unfortunately the toy slipped from the crane's grasp causing Taehyun to be extremely frustrated and Gyu to whine. He had enough coins for one more try but was that cheap plushie really worth it. "It's fine. I mean I picked this game with the intention of you losing. We can play something else. Don't worry about it." The older said before giving him a smile.
