George sat down, grading a geography quiz in the library, with Tubbo staying around for fun.
Wilbur watched over him, obviously being left out as he isn't a poltergeist. It made George slightly pity him, if he was being honest. Wilbur was... Surprisingly good at geography.
This man could teach a class if he wasn't a musician.
Dream was staying around too, reading the books out of curiosity. The book he was reading was titled, 'Exorcists and their History'. Why the hell was he reading that when he already knew everything about it? He recently learned how to look less 'godly', by tucking away his wings, floating rings and toning down the bright sparkles that emitted from himself. He even put away his mask, green eyes shimmering like emeralds.
He simply looked like a boy wearing a faded green hoodie.
When George asked him why earlier, Dream responded that he didn't want to be treated like a god with his friends.
Techno was reading a few war books, and Phil was reading something about machines. Tubbo and Tommy are playing Jenga, both dead serious.
It was already around 4:50 pm, small warm rays of sunshine lighting the room up. It was a cool October afternoon, winter creeping closer every day. It was a comfortable silence, only occasionally broken by the two teenage boys screaming about wooden blocks or Wilbur rambling about geography. But for those silent moments, it really felt like everything was fine.
Until a glow appeared in the middle of the room, slowly getting brighter and brighter before it blinded everyone's eyes. They heard blocks toppling and groaning.
"Hey! What was the flash for, dickhead?!" Tommy growled, the jenga tower toppled down. He was probably super focused, only for that focus to be shattered by the light. Speaking of the light, a person replaced the spot where the glow used to be.
The man was around 7 foot tall, golden wings wrapping around his feet and face. Eyes decorated its wings, being framed with gold. They wore a long cloak that was coloured green, with sparkles littering its cloth. And once the mystery person folded their wings back to reveal their face, they looked exactly like Dream. But with a mask that had 'XD' on it, instead of a crudely drawn smile.
"Brother dear, our dear Father calls for you." The man spoke, words spilling out of their mouth like silk, a small echo making the voice even more... mysterious.
Dream didn't bother turning around. "Tell him I'm busy. I don't want to deal with Father's outbursts right now, XD." Annoyance and a slight hint of anger laced his voice, but 'XD' seemed unfazed.
(it looks like he's XDing whilst being angry pfft)
"Oh my, spending time with humans and ghosts? Brother Dearest, how low have you fallen? Our business with humans and ghosts is to be limited." He inspected, his mocking smile unchanging. He walked with poise and elegance, hands behind his back as he scanned the room.
"Shut UP, XD." Dream growled, slamming the book shut.
XD's attention is caught.
"My, if it isn't a human?" XD smiled slightly, pausing for a bit. "George. 24 years old, am I correct? Silly me, I am always correct." The god started walking towards George, who was absolutely pissing his pants. He was holding onto his fan instinctively, even though he knew it probably won't even inflict a scratch on XD.
"You're the boy Brother dear kept sneaking into the castle." Dream froze as still as a statue. "Thought I didn't know? Brother dear, I am all knowing."
"No you're not, egotistical prick." Tommy muttered, but XD's head immediately turned to Tommy, who was sitting behind him. That looked unnerving as hell. "You were thinking about how to attack me 39 seconds ago." XD said, which made Tommy go still too.
