It's an explanation of the AU! :))
1. God
Yeah, Dream takes this role as Prime God. In this Afterlife, God is like being King. Usually a God will rule for billions of years, until they have a hier who will take their place. The retired God either becomes a ghost, or become a Secondary God.
2. Secondary Gods
These gods are multiple people who control a certain spot in reality. (A water God, a fire God)
They either consist of people who were promoted to a secondary god or previous Gods)
3. Demigods/Human Gods
These people used to be worshipped as a Human. An example of this is Techno himself; he was a killer of billions in his lifespan. And back in the day, people used to live centuries long. Anyways, they always start out as a ghost, which makes them close to a normal ghost. But once they become a poltergeist, they would be as strong as a Secondary God.
4. Souls
These people are rare, as they are people who are alive, but away from their body. The body; which doesn't have its host, is very vulnerable, requiring charms to ward away other ghosts to take. They may be weaker than a ghost, but they are able to take back their body with a little will/exorcism.
5. Poltergeists
These are ghosts who can interact with everything in the human world. They can become visible to humans at will, but it takes up a little bit of energy. To become one, a human must give a ghost one of their most precious items while alive. To prevent trouble, they cannot leave the person who has turned them to a poltergeist. This type of ghost is able to be a subcategory
6. Ghosts
These are.. Just ghosts. Invisible, and can't touch anything. These are considered commoners, and are unable to be heard, or seen by higher ups (unless they want to).
7. Corrupted Souls
Demons who finished their sentence. Their stay in hell turned them into monsters.
8. Demons.

Ex: A poltergeist god is way more powerful than a normal God
Angered Souls
They are basically ghosts who still hold grudges over their death, usually they are murders. Depending on how strong the grudge is, the darker they are.
Tommy is a slightly angered soul. It's been years, so it isn't as bad as before.
Techno used to be one, but his anger dissipated after he drove the person who murdered him into commit die. Guess the Blood God really hated him

Even a God has to go by his own rules; he shall be dethroned if he breaks his rules one too many times
A god can promote ghosts up the hierarchy
Every ghost under your tier are muted and invisible. Any attacks wouldn't even be felt.
Poltergeists cannot control this power; Only gods can
