"No, Mikasa, I really don't feel like going out today." You said to your roommate. She was practically dragging you out of bed, but you were not about to budge.

"Look, (Y/N), I know you feel like crap, but how are you ever going to find your soulmate if you don't go out?"

You shot her a look. "You're really pulling that card?"

She put a hand on her hip. "I am. Now come on, Eren's throwing a party at his house. You know how nice their house is, now let's get out there and show everyone who's boss, okay?" She said, holding out two of your nicest dresses.

You sighed.

"Fine."

"There. Armin's almost here, now let's go!" Mikasa said, shoving her phone in her purse. You were wearing your favorite dress- the one you felt most comfortable in. It hugged you in all the right places, and did just the right amount of showing off your assets. Mikasa knew you were a killer in that dress, so she had shoved it into your face right away.

Armin pulled up in his modest car, and the three of you headed over to the Jeager's house.

The place was packed when you got there- it was a good thing no one dared to park in Armin's designated spot, or you would have had to park on a different street.

The music was blasted just loud enough so that it was close to someone calling a noise complaint. You were handed a few drinks upon entry.

"Well, this is certainly something!" Yelled Armin over the sound.

"I'm going to find Eren!" Mikasa said.

That left you and Armin by themselves- when Mikasa was on a mission to find her soulmate, no one could stop that girl.

Armin turned to you and smiled nervously. "Well, there she goes!"

You smiled. "Always after her man. Good thing I nabbed her purse off of her before she left." You held up your arm, dangling her bag from your finger.

"I'll be back." You said, and quickly ran to Eren's room to find a safe spot to place yours and Mikasa's purses.

But somewhere in the mess, you had lost Armin, and you couldn't find Eren, either. So you were stood in the sea of people, holding a cup of an unknown liquid, without your phone.

You tried to enjoy the party, you really did. You even saw a few familiar faces, like Jean, Sasha, and Connie, but they were all going hard on the dance floor- which wasn't really your forte. So after about an hour of forced socialization, you opted to find a quiet, dark room to seclude yourself in to reset.

You closed the door, leaving the lights off, and leaned against it, sighing loudly and slumping down to the floor. You put your head in your knees and let your arms drop to the ground.

"Tired of the party?" A voice startled you. You almost screamed, but for some reason, the voice was comforting, and almost warm. You stared wide-eyed into the darkness, but there was no way you could see anything.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't think anyone was in here-" You turned around to open the door, but the handle wouldn't budge. It was like someone was holding it closed, or too many bodies were pressed up against it. You could hear the noise of the party through the door, but it was all muffled.

You slumped your shoulders. "It won't open..."

You heard a small 'hm' and soft footsteps. He was coming toward you.

It felt like you were inches apart, and yet you could not see this person. It seemed like he was a bit shorter than you, but his presence felt strong.
