𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙚

𝐕𝐈𝐈. 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞.

It was around 9 at night as Y/n made her was home.

She had her headphones 'listening to music as she walked down the street lite pavement.

On top of a building there, Varvatos stood watching Y/n and her every step.

He watched as she turned a left turn into an alleyway.

Unfortunately for him, he didn't give a second thought to why she would abruptly turn an almost seemingly random corner.

Varvatos jumped off the building, landing on the pavement and began walking to the corner.

And would be his downfall to a 16-year-old human girl.

You see, Y/n theorised that Krel and Aja might have told their guardian about them and they would want to question her so she came prepared, well as prepared as anyone going against an unknown alien. She had a pepper spray on her keychain. That and a window breaker, personal alarm keychain, her first initial and a puffball all in her favourite colour.

To some they might say she overthinks and is paranoid to that Y/n would say always plan for the worst-case scenario.

She tried to calm herself as she could hear big footsteps, by the footsteps along she knew that the alien was big and she'll be lucky if the pepper spray affects it and she would have time to explain how she was able to outsmart them.

Soon the footsteps started to get closer. She took a deep breath in and held the pepper stray in her hand and make sure it was facing outward.

That when Vex stepped in the alley, face to face with Y/n. Y/n didn't hesitate to lift the pepper spray up and spray that Vex's face.

This causing him the cover his face and move to the side giving Y/n her a chance to run out of there.

Vex uncovered his eye, his vision was bury due to his uncontrollable tears but he couldn't help but smirk.

This whoman was able to temporarily blinded him. He really did underestimate her.

He watched as Y/n ran away from the sense.

"Varvatos Vex has underestimated you whoman! But make no mistake! It would the last!" With that

Y/n ignored him and continued running her adrenaline the only thing keeping her moving.

As she ran she was able to hit the buttons activating her skates, making her move faster hopefully they last just enough so she could escape Vex.

She glanced back only the see Vex gaining on her.

She looked back in front looking for anything that could help her. Y/n saw a light pole. Maybe just maybe if she could swing around it she could lose Vex. Looking back again Vex was getting too close for comfort.

Y/n mustered all her courage and outstretched her hand, griping unto the pole causing her to swing and leading her to the rough road. This did help as Vex's stamina was lost at the sudden change of direction. He stopped momentarily when an idea came to mind.

Y/n was still skating, she wasn't too sure if the shoes would last long, as it appears that they weren't made for such a rough surface area. She had hoped that could keep him at a distance because she knew Lizard lived nearby and that was her best way out of the situation.

Vex took out his serrator and aimed it at her. He decided it would be best not to directly hit her so he aimed next to her, hoping it would make her unbalanced and fall beside her was a car there reduced her fall.

Y/n looked back to see blue energy coming at her. Her eyes widen in fear as it bearing missed her and hit the back of her shoe causing her to lose her balance. Her heart was now beating against her chest as if it wanted to burst and from her.

Soon a next blast came, this time it hit her other shoe. This causes her to fall, her head hitting on the glass of a car hard casing it to shatters as she fell, the position of her legs were so as she felt and heard something cracked in her right leg but she didn't have time to scream, which the trauma to the side of her head she felt herself becoming unconscious.

Vex saw the girl fall and began making his walk to the girl.

Once behind her, he could see ow her left leg was tuck underneath the rest of her body in an uncomfortable position. Her head was lent on the car as the broken glass was on top of her head and around her.

"Varvatos Vex must admit that was you gave him a glorious chase! But I am saddened it ended like this but I do this in the name of the Royal family for their protection" He explained as he picked her up and toss her easily over his shoulder, picked up her bag and made his way back home.
