Present time
The moment he whispered marriage, I immediately snapped out of the illusion and soon the the bright passing images faded back into the dreary bleak room
"W-what was that?" I breathed out
"It is what we call a Visió, otherwise called a vision"
"No not that!" I whisper flailing my arms in a foolish attempt to enact a description "the last part"
"You mean about marriage" he said shrugging it off "you have to get bonded"
"Are you sick?!" I yell slamming my palms to the table and everyone else draws back "is this some kind of joke to you?!, Or are you some kind of weird cultish thing?!"
"Told you she was all kinds of crazy" Sandy blonde boy whispered to tall, dark and brooding
"I'm crazy?!" I rave, pulling at my air "you really think you know what crazy is huh..."
My lips move, I hear myself yelling as if I'm listening to a pre-recorded tape, and slowly a cool voice drifts pass my ears
"Daughter" it says "be calm, I have a plan for you"
"What plan" a harsher voice demands "you will belong to us soon, nothing can save you now!"
The calm voice echoes louder and the harsher voice tries to outdo it, one voice wanting me to yield to power, one wanting me to embrace the power and follow
I was suddenly thrust back into my own body, into the clutches of my own mind but yet the voices grew louder and louder and louder still
Soon it became nothing but a shrill ring and I put my hands over my ears to obstruct the sound but it was of no use, it was coming from within me
I felt something warm and wet trickle down my arms and to my horror, it was my blood trickling down from my ears, then my nose and soon I was shedding tears of blood.
It was happening so fast and so soon, I couldn't understand it, I couldn't fathom it, the blood, the ringing and the pain raving in my head
"Little girl you're mine" the harsher voice demanded, I felt a small tug on something deep within me
Suddenly my eyes were open and I saw the darkness slowly creeping over me, obscuring the light and darkening my soul
"I have found you and you are MINE!" It snarled
It was too much, I couldn't take it, I was too weak, not enough
"Go ahead little one" the voice hissed "show the world how weak you really are"
It's laughter echoed through my fast darkening soul and played upon my last string of fear and in desperation I opened my mouth and let out a loose shrill
Only it wasn't just a scream, it was my pain, my anger, my insanity all rolled up into one ear splitting scream
The rooms shook and the ground rumbled and everyone fell to their knees clutching their ears all except Jan
"Peace!" He proclaimed
In a burst of radiant energy, two iridiscient wings burst out from his back and instantly my screams stopped
I gazed at the wings in awe of the divinity that stood right in front of me and right there as quickly as they had appeared, they had disappeared and my nerve wracking emotions returned in full force as heart wrenching sobs hit me
"What just happened" I heard one whisper
"She just stopped yelling and zoned out and then the blood and then the scream"
