*Loki's POV, As a child*

"Loki," Father beckons, waving his hand. Running over, I grin up at my father as I take hold of his hand. "Are you ready?"

"Where are we going, Father?" I ask as we walk towards the Bifrost.

"I want you to meet someone very special in Alfheim. One day, you'll understand, but she's much like you. Do you want to meet her?" Thinking carefully, I look up at the man.

"Will it help me become a better king like you?" I ask, serious about getting an answer. He laughs, messing up my hair as we enter the gate.

"Not just a better king, my boy," he answers as Heimdall opens the Bifrost. "But a better man, as well." Looking forward to meeting this person, a wide smile makes its way onto my face as we travel to Alfheim. As we travel, colors of every color surround me, making my home disappear before my eyes. In its place, a forest takes form, standing in front of us a stone arch. There doesn't seem to be anything through the arch, so I look up at my father.

"Is this Alfheim, father?" I ask, still holding his hand. He only smiles as he tugs me along, leading me through the arch and when he does, my eyes amaze me. The forest, though still there, is an entirely different layout, a large clearing a distance away for for the largest rock I have ever seen. "That's the size of a mountain!" I yell, excited. "How did they hide it, father?"

"Loki," Father starts, unable to hide the excitement in his eyes. "When we go to meet our new friends, you can ask them all you want." He grins at me and this time, he's nit the one to pull me along.

Tugging on my father, I yell "let's go, Father!" Grinning, I pull him along, passing elves as we go, my father grinning from ear to ear as he points in the direction we need to go.

We reach the mountain sized rock and when I look at it, I can see it's been hand carved, making me wonder how long it took for this rock to be carved. Out of the entire forest, this is the most crowded place, elves of all different shape and sizes chatting with each other, some resting on the rock while others stand. Some look over to us, but not many as they all continue to talk to each other, some just chatting, some playing music, and others dancing. An elf does come by to place a flower crown on my head, but otherwise we remain unbothered as we wait. We don't have to wait long, though, as a light glows on the side of the mountain rock, creating an outline of an arched door before the entire doorway glows golden, two people walking out. The first one is a woman about my father's age, wearing a pale white dress, but she's not the one who catches my attention.

Clutching onto the woman's hand is a little girl, only slightly smaller than me but small still. Her golden hair falls down past her waist, wearing a pale green dress. Her dark green eyes wander to mine shyly, and as the two of us stare at each other, she holds out her other hand, green and gold butterflies flying out of it and circling around me before disappearing, the girl giving me a smile. I can't help but smile back as the Father introduces us. "Loki, meet little Kara." I see something flutter behind her, and when I look, I see the most beautiful pair of wings attempting to hide behind the little girl's body.

I knew already, how I'd fallen for Kara. Hard.

*Time Skip-Loki's a teenager now*

ADULT SCENE AHEAD: It gets a little steamy ahead! If you don't want to read steamy, skip to the next time skip and check out the author's note at the bottom to get the important plot details

Father would take me to Alfheim often, and most of my visits would consist of Kara and I playing, or reading novels. When Kara and I first met, she would talk to me by giving me images in my mind, and she had taught me how to use magic as she does. Over the years I've gotten better and better, and I'm sure this time around I will show her that I'm just as good as she is.
