I slowly opened my eyes as light flooded my vision. You know how sometimes you wake up and have that feeling like "It's going to be a horrible day!" That feeling was going through my mind because today was my study session with Marcus. I prayed last night that I would have a productive meeting and that he will be a little less annoying. But I still had that annoying feeling. I groaned as I stretched my arms out. With a yawn I stumbled my way across my room and into my closet. My head was overflown with ideas and combinations of outfits to wear. None of them said "I'm hear to study, but I'm not happy about it." After 15 minutes of throwing around clothes, I decided it was hopeless. I needed major help. I grabbed my phone and started scrolling through my contacts. Most of them were family and I didn't feel comfortable asking them because they were either way younger than me or an adult.
I sighed as I realized there was only one person I could call. I scrolled down my contacts and called one of my "friends"(supposedly) named Brianna. She was a complete fashionista and loved working on these situations.
I held onto the phone as I impatiently paced my bedroom. I became lost in thought and jumped when I realized she picked up on the second ring.
"Heeeey girl, whats up?"
"I need major fashion help and your the only one I could call," I pleaded.
"OF COURSE! I'll be there in like 10 minutes!" And with that the phone cut off. I couldn't help but smile at how much she enjoys this stuff. I jumped on my bed and started playing Temple Run as I waited for her to reach my house

"Calm down Kat you look great,"Brianna assured me.
I looked at myself one more time in the mirror. I was wearing sky blue skinny jeans that showed off my legs with a long black shirt that extended past my hands a little bit that had white hearts on them. To finish it off I wore a white beanie with a puff at the top. It was very cute and also very comfortable. The blue really stood out since the rest was black and white.
"Are you sure this is going to work?"
"Of course! Trust in my skills. I am the Fashion Guru." I rolled my eyes as I stuffed my notebooks into my bag and added a couple pencils and highlighters. Brianna was great for this stuff but she will NEVER be as good as my cousin.
"So....Kat, who's your tutor?"
"This Senior named Marcus. Apparently he's really good with math and is suppose to help me move up a math level."
"Oh. I've seen him a round school, very cute," she smiled.
As I thought back to our encounter I had to agree, he wasn't ugly, but there was still something about him that reminded me of someone. Was it the eyes? My thoughts were interrupted as Brianna continued.
"I think you want a little more than a math lesson," she teased at me. I scrunched up my face in disgust as I turned away form the mirror.
"You do don't you?" She started poking my abdomen and I coudn't help but laugh. "Tell me Kat!"
"I DON'T.....STOP, PLEASE STOP!!!" I kept tossing around and howling with laughter.
"Promise? Better hurry...... I may decide to keep tickling!"
"I PROMISE!!!! PLEASE STOP!" My laughter started to dwindle as she slowly moved her hands away from me.
I started to breathe heavily as I tried to catch my breathe.
"I'll see you later, good luck on your study date," she winked at me as she left to go back home. I crawled across the floor still gasping for air
"Curse you......Brianna....."
I reached my bag and slowly walked downstairs to get into my car, still coughing as I closed the door.
------------
I slowly pressed on the breaks as I eased into the driveway. I couldn't believe he lived here. Before me I saw a gigantic white mansion with round windows scattered across the exterior. In a trance I shut my door as i walked up the stone paved road that led to huge brown double doors. I looked around me to see a beautiful green garden with pansies, roses, and amazing beautiful flowers flowing in the light breeze. I couldn't take my eyes off of them.
Each flower had it's own type of beauty. I got down on one knee and inhaled the smell. I have always loved the aroma, growing up I had the magic touch. I could save any flower that was about to die. My blood ran cold as I saw a weed growing near a rose.
"You poor thing," I whispered.
I moved closer and noticed the soil was a little dry. I looked around trying to see if I could find some water when I remembered I had water bottle in my bag. I dug through my bag throwing and tossing out all my stuff until I found it at the far bottom. I smile grew upon my face as I opened the cap and began pouring the water onto the plants.
I sighed in happiness. I love taking care of plants when it's a beautiful day outside. The warmth of the sun showered me in comfort. My thoughts were interrupted as my phone started to ring. I mumbled curses to my self as I sorted through my pile of things near my bag. On my phone screen the name Marcus popped up. I unlocked my phone to see it was a text.
"I'm not home, decided to take my new car for a spin so I won't be able to tutor you. There is a key underneath the rock to the right of my front door, my younger brother will be tutoring you instead."
My mouth dropped as I read the message, I was so distracted I didn't realize I was flooding the plants. I quickly, and clumsily, closed the cap and put all of my stuff into my bag. I honestly couldn't believe he did this to me. First he ignores me, then is rude, then tells me to meet him out of the blue with no information! I had to check our school directory to get his address! And who is this brother he was talking about?
"Damn him," I snarled.
I got up from the ground and searched for the stupid rock. I bent down and found a golden key underneath. I was about to unlock the door when I hesitated. Should I really just walk into someone else's home, even if they gave permission? But if I didn't get over this obstacle I will miss my session, and I'm horrible at studying alone. Plus his brother is expecting me right?
I took a deep breath as I slowly eased the key into the door and unlocked it. I jumped at the sound of the click. No going back now. I pushed the door opened and walked in. If I thought the outside was amazing, the interior was gorgeous.
The floor was made of shiny white tiles that I could easily see my reflection in. To my right I saw the marble kitchen and to my left was a big flat screen TV and two light brown couches to each side. In the middle was a glass table that had magazines on top. A chandelier hung at the top of the room with beautiful crystals flowing from it. I didn't realize how high the ceiling was until I walked inside.
"WOW," I gasped. My house couldn't even compare to this place. It was perfect!
Suddenly my heart stopped as I heard a noise come from up the stairs right in front of me. I gulped as I looked up to see a shadow approaching from the top of the stair case. I started to straighten my clothes just in case it was his parents. I didn't want to make a bad impression.
I looked up to see a tall figure above me. But what really caught my attention was the eyes. It was the same blue eyes as....
My arm gave out so my book bag dropped to the ground.
"It's...it's....yo-....you!"
